I have a local Gloria Jeans that I visit almost every day. It's a great way for me to have a break from work in my lunch break, or to catch up with friends.
As I typically order multiple coffees and come with others, my yearly spend at that local Gloria Jeans exceeds the $5,000 mark.
As a loyal gay customer, I am appalled to hear of the significant donations that Gloria Jeans makes to the Australia Christian Lobby.
I have been well aware that Gloria Jeans is owned by a Christian organisation, but I have completely neutral views about religion.
The ACL's insistence to use the bible as a weapon however I do have a problem with.

Read moreWhile the atmosphere is one of the best that appeals to me personally, the inconsistency in coffee and service is just killing it for me: the coffee tastes different depending on which barrista is making it, the coffee cups occasionally have coffee spills on them that defeats the aesthetics of having a nice morning coffee, sometimes the place is understaffed and I as a customer have to become my own waiter and requested by staff to serve myself (say what?), the list goes on...
As I used to like this place, I'll check back on it some time in the future and have a look if any actions have been done to address the points...
