Yakoo Engadine — Restaurant in Sydney

What a strange restaurant. Recently, we decided to go there for dinner. On arrival we had to sign in , that's fair enough. So we were seated and all of a sudden, we have 3 staff members standing around us ,just watching us. I asked the staff members if there was a problem.? They replied no , just waiting to take your order. I replied , oh okay , can we look at the menu first. We haven't even had a chance for a drink yet. And maybe a little privacy please. So they left us alone for a second. We poured ourselves a drink into these silly glasses which lean on a 45 degree angle and wobble on the table. Continue to open the menu up and wouldn't you have it , all the staff members are back just staring at us waiting for our order. So we place our order , ,and I tell you no lie , within 30 seconds the food started coming out. And I don't just mean one dish , I talking about all of them at once. We were literally running out of room on the table. I mentioned this to one of the staff members that we are running out of room on the table , so she started combining meals together. OMG. Are you guys for real. Well , from the time we walked in to the time we walked out , it was less than half an hour. The food was just ok. Chicken was a little pink and under cooked. Surprise ! . But what a waste of effort to go out and try and enjoy a night out. And it's not like they were super busy. What was the point of the rush . Definitely won't be going back there anytime soon. Very disappointing evening. Thumbs...

Very disappointing. We waited 40 minutes to be acknowledged once seated. No drinks or menus offered. The service staff asked if we were ready to order-no idea we had no menus! Received the menus, then staff proceeded to clear the wine glasses! 10 minutes later called the service staff and ordered a bottle of wine, entrees and main course. Requested all food to be served together. One main was served. 20 minutes later still waiting for the rest of the meals to be served which came in trickles. Waited up to 1 hour for all food requests to be served. One dish we were told wasn't available about 40 minutes in. Then waited another 30 or so minutes for a replacement dish. The result was cold and tasteless food.

Apple watch kept sending alerts for 100 decibels reached. Was very noisy and could not have a decent conversation with my family.

My Husband booked a table for two yesterday to celebrate valentines day. We got to the restaurant 5 minutes early and sat down on our table allocated for us. However, the service was appalling. My husband and i waited 30 minutes for a service but no one had come up and ask us for any drinks while waiting nor waters? Not only our table situated closed to front door and every time it open half of time they never closed fully and it was a cold wind confronting us which is i can let it go. I can understand if they wore super busy but the place is not full book. there is lots of tables empty and the staffing was passing back in fort with head down and not looking to ensure all costumer were taking care off. On top of no drinks offer, but also menus for to look.

I have never had an experience in the restaurant were we had to walked out.
