Ordered at 1:30 am 23/07
As it was so early in the morning, I was hungry and this location is on my way back, I decided to have a feed at this hungry jacks.
For a night that ends at 1:30AM, this has got to be one of the worst ways to end the night off.
When going through the drive-thru I was greeted by an Ai robot to take my order down which it completely butchered.
I was looking to order from the voucher deals that hungry jacks has and wanted to order the chicken royale, small chips and drink voucher as well as 10 nuggets and large chips, it took me a solid minute or two to try and get my order which it couldn't get correctly so I decided to go to the window and try to order with a human.
Little did I know, the Ai jack getting my order wrong isn't even the bad part of this experience.
I told the worker at that I had difficulties trying to order with the Ai and how it wasn't that great at taking orders down to which he replied in a snarly manner saying that it is Ai and it operates perfectly when used correctly and that I was wrong for the way I tried placing my order. I tried saying that I placed the order in a clear loud voice multiple times which never got it to get my order correctly and he kept saying that the Ai is perfect.
I then repeated my order to the worker which took even longer than the Ai to process my order and then he managed to put the order through correctly after another minute or two.
The worker then proceeded to attempt ripping me off by charging me $18. 70 for a meal that should only cost $13.70.
I pointed out to him that the balance is not correct to which he didn't apologise about the miscalculation, he process the order again in the system, delaying my order even further.
He proceeded to go to the back of the kitchen after taking his gloves off. Once he came back, he handed me my food and put a new glove back on.
You would think I'm done by now, but there's more.
Not only did I have difficulties with processing the order with the new Ai system, I was then treated as if I was wrong for having difficulties with the Ai, having difficulties with human worker taking my order down, almost be robbed off of $5.00 and have the whole process take longer than 10 minutes.
You would think it can't get any worse, right? To add to all the above my order was short.
The large chips was half empty when I got it I was missing the 2 sauce that comes with the nuggets after making it evidently clear that I wanted the spicy dip sauce to the clerk that was working The chips were cold and stale
Factors that keep me coming back to hungry jacks is the convenience of location and operating hours but with this order taking literally over 5 minutes, the worker try to rip me off, my order was stale as well as being missing I might have to start thinking twice about visiting this location.
Tl:dr: Ai is terrible, worker is terrible, order was missing, attempted to...

I highly recommend for everyone to avoid going here, unless you are willing to be served by the rudest staff ever who don't even know what they are doing, and clearly don't like their job. I seriously would love to know how they even got their job. On Thursday 21st November at around 5:22pm, my mum and I went to order dinner at the drive thru. From the moment the girl took our order you could automatically tell that she did not want to be there nor did she know anything about customer service. The tone in her voice, her attitude, and the pushiness made the ordering process so confusing and rushed and definitely wasn't welcoming at all. One of the burgers we had ordered was the LA Angus and when we had proceeded to the next window to collect our food, we were yet again served by a rude girl who didn't know how to smile and didn't even talk which was quite disappointing especially when you are meant to have customer service skills. So, the girl handed us our food without talking, we had checked the bags briefly and noticed there were no chips. My mum had said to her nicely, 'excuse me but we ordered this burger in a regular meal, and there is no chips'. The girl then said that the other girl who took our order hadn't charged us for the meal only the burger by itself which was wrong, she did charge us for the meal as we mentioned we want a regular meal however she forgot to put it through as a meal. Anyways, after arguing back and forth we were to pay $3 something for the chips. As we were waiting for the chips, we just observed the inside of the restaurant and there were atleast 5 young girls just standing around, with frowns and arms folded while looking so confused about what they have to do. How hard is it seriously.... And with proper training from staff, you shouldn't be standing around looking like you hate your life. We were finally handed the chips, and the girl who gave them to us did not say a word, handed her arm out the window with the bag and we just took off. We arrived home, ate our food (which one of the burgers was cold), and thought we would try calling the store to speak to the manager on shift to complain about our disgusting experience with the staff. After calling 8 times and being hung up on after asking for the manager, by the same girl, this matter has been taken further with head office and they are raising it with HR. So do yourself a favour and DO...
Read moreIf I could give this place a minus I would. The drive through attendant had no interest at all in getting our order correct. Then when she finally did and we were able to move up to pay she handed the change back with such force, that she missed my hand and it ended up on the driveway.
That should of been it right? No. Not close... We moved up to get the food, I was told that the chips were fresh, then when I was handed the drinks, the lids were loose, thus causing the cups to cave inwards. I ended up wearing part of both drinks as I dropped one in surprise. My car was obviously thirsty as well, it ended up wearing the majority of both cokes down the window cavity, the inside and outside of the door and the carpet of my freshly detailed VE Calais Redline!!!
I went in and was actally weirdly calm about the situation, despite the fact that both myself and my car were covered in coke. When I spoke to the manager he quoted to me "we aren't obligated to ensure that our lids fit the cups" and then this comment "complain if you want, like I care, they won't do anything, I've been here too long now."
I threw what was remaining of both drinks over him and the floor he was cleaning. He screamed that he was calling the cops, my response "Good, I'll wait for them". They didn't show up.
I did speak to the "apparent" site manager - Rachael M - she promised me she would have my money refunded and would have her area manager call me, to discuss having the coke removed from my car, the window cavity and the carpet... I am still waiting for that call back, despite numerous messages left for him or her...
The kicker was being told not to wash or have the car cleaned, so they could witness the damage for themselves. Even though it was washed and cleaned after 2 days, the acid from the coke has eaten through the topcoat of the paint making it cloudy, my leather seat now has pits in it and tge electrics in it rarely works, the carpet is noticeably lighter where the coke was and what is most noticable of all is that the coke that was spilt down the window cavity has become sticky and damaged the window tint...
To say I am angry... That is a total understatement of this...
