Restaurant located not far from padstow train station and its got very casual vibe. After looking it for awhile on the menu. We did order : *Keropok lekor - 5 pieces of it and it was alright. A bit greasy and pretty average. by point will be fair around 5/10 *mee goreng - once it hit the table I can smell the wokhei of it and it was appetising. But the downside of it was the chicken pieces tasted a bit off. This one around 6/10. *gado-gado - one of the strangest version I've ever tried. If we try the peanut sauce alone it tasted fine. But it tasted pretty bland once mixed together. I can see they use odd ingredient like hokkien noodle in it. And I can sense they use sand ginger in the sauce. Pretty odd though. Gado gado will be about 4/10. nasi padang set meal - also another mediocre dish. 3 choices on top of the rice. Rendang very average. Doesn't have complexity like the depth of the spice. Fried fish very bland. Cassava leaves curry pretty average. Point on this will be around 5/10. The interesting thing is the price point of the dishes. Mee goreng and gado-gado served in a bowl and priced $8.90(per jan 25), consider cheap if we just want to fill up without care...

ย ย ย Read moreThe atmosphere was dim, the fried rice was made from frozen vegetables and full of onions. The chips and nuggets from the kids menu had only a small handful of chips. The biggest issue was the sweet and sour chicken with rice, it was just store bought sweet chilli sauce with small chicken pieces plus the rice was the smallest portion of rice from any other similar restaurant. Was unable to finish it hardly appetising. Furthermore the mango lassi was hardly blended mango pieces in sour greek yoghurt and ice. Not the fragrant orange-yellow smooth mango lassi as advertised. The Tom Yum soup was thin and barely a heartful side dish. The children were also served in thin plastic plates. As a family of 7, mostly kids, we spent over 80 for barely an appetising meal out. If your looking to eat here I advise you just go to the Thai restaurant...
