Unfortunately the starters didn’t deliver in flavour as the samosas were very doughy and thick and not light and crispy and the chicken tikka was overly sour possibly too much vinegar, dry and not much flavour.

The mains were better: butter chicken was nice as was the lamb rogan josh, dhal, palak paneer. The rotis were not served hot and did not taste crispy which indicated they were not cooked in the tandoor

The service was very slow and lacked attention from the staff. Our table was left dirty after dinner till we left so not a good sight while finishing our drinks. We were not offered the desert menu as is customary in most restaurants.

We were given a table right in front of the airconditioning and although the temperature was raised it was still very uncomfortably cold. Ask for a table away from the aircon!!

Overall not a great experience and not the flavours we expected from an...

The 8 of us enjoyed our dinner in this venue and its probably one of the better Indian restaurants we have been to in Sydney. All the dishes we tried were good except the Nawabi Kofta, im sorry to say but it was sickly-sweet and not 1 out of 8 of us could eat a spoon of it. I'd say its a waste of $23 so avoid it. Perhaps their menu needs to describe which dishes are sweet, this was more like desert sweet and i wish they had warned us. The Kofta's themselves were a strange consistency as well.

All our other dishes were great. The staff were lovely to deal with.

One issue is their slippery floors, I don’t know if it’s always like this but the tiles in this restaurant are incredibly slippery and almost looked like they are covered in oil. Seemed like a safety hazard for...

This restaurant has promise. The decor is modern and clean. The staff are well presented and attentive. The menu, like the decor, aims at sophistication. Potato pattie entree had flair on the plate and was tasty. Chicken tikka masala main was a touch disappointing after such an promising start. The chicken was tender but used a base sauce which I found a bit standard and generic. I was hoping for something with a bit more flair and texture after what was promised on the menu. The portion sizes were fair and the prices were reasonable for 2024. I think they have some good ideas and potential here to be a cut above your average Indian restaurant. Doing a good job with the entrees. I think the chef should go back to basics and have a think about taking the main...

Our first visit to to this beautiful little place. Everything is well catered for. Attentive and courteous staff, cozy and intimate along with flavoursome food. We ordered vegetarian dishes. Started with aaloo tikki which was perfectly cooked, crispy and filled with some filling inside.Paneer khurchan medium spicy was excellent in taste and flavours. Malai kofta was mild and sweet but tasty. Just the way we like it. Of course you can ask your food to be made according to your spice level. All the curries garnished with perfectly roasted cashew/ pista to enhance the flavours. Paratha was flaky and crispy and naan was soft. Cucumber raita wasn’t sweet as it is in other places. A special thanks to the staff for being so attentive and courteous. We will be back for sure!

I want to today update my rating to 4 stars. We have been trying out paneer tikka/ Naan and green chutney for two times . Both the times it was properly prepared and served hot . I will keep my old feedback below but I want to thank the restaurant for improving their quality . I will keep assessing the restaurant for preparation and food qualitySo that my audience has correct feedback . Thank you —————————————————————— I had ordered chicken Biryani takeaway on 4th Oct at 7-30 PM. Selected medium spicy . The Biryani was extremely spicy and not medium spicy and completely flavourless . It completely burnt my stomach . I had to have it with extra curd from home . Also the curb provided with Biryani was in small box and very less .

Pros: The nawabi kofta, batak curry and chocolate raspberry were all well presented and very tasty. It's a nice looking restaurant. Cons: We ordered a beer and cider to start and waited a long time for them. I even had to ask again. When we finally got them the cider wasn't cold. I later ordered a second beer which was listed as Stone & Wood Cloud Catcher (cloudy pale ale) but when the waitress brought it, it was a regular Stone & Wood (pacific ale). The atmosphere at the rear of the restaurant looked very nice but we were seated close to the front entrance despite other tables being available.
