Turramurra Memorial Park — Attraction in Sydney

This is such a wonderful park. A lot of people come here for morning runs, or afternoon play/bbq etc. There are good tennis courts ( u have to book in) and an Oval. A long walk and kids bike track. I do think the have lots of excercise meet ups in the park as well.

Kids love the flying fox and the hammock swings. . Lots of trees and shade around if you are throwing a birthday party or gathering.

Only reason I am giving it 4stars is that the enclosed kiddie play area is a bit far away from the older kids play area. That means if u have a couple of kids of different ages , you have to run between the two areas or take another friend/family along. Found that a inconvinience.It would have been easier if they were closer, then mum/dads wont have to run about . :D.

I play basketball regularly here, the hoop and paint are regulation which makes practicing easy. Pickup games happen on occasion where the competition is somewhere between amateur to intermediate. It's a moderately busy park, so you will almost never be by yourself. In the mornings you will see PT's training their clients, people running laps on the oval, playing tennis or just simply walking about. In the evenings you might see some students or family's with kids. The quietest period is in the afternoon when the heat sets in. Overall it's as good a park as you will get. The vibe is friendly and the facilities are clean. Only downside for me is the decision to build the court on top of Everest. Be prepared to play fetch when...

Exceptional park with an outstanding array of sport and fitness options including athletes, tennis, cricket (cricket practice nets also available here), park outdoor gym equipment. One fun safe children's play area near the Karuah Street side of the park, and near the table tennis, plus flying fox. Then there is another child safe locked gate play area in-between the tennis courts for younger children. Every area designed for family health, fitness and fun plus so much more. Sensational dog leash free area, picnic tables and chairs. Clean easily accessible toilets. Fantastic parking all around the park. Rubbish bins all around as well. Magnificent trees attracting...
