Jenny's Hot Bread & Cakes — Restaurant in Sydney

On a cool Sunday morning I walked through the streets of Engadine revelling in the worlds beauty. I stopped at Jenny’s and was provided with most kindness and gentle, smiling grace a bacon and cheese roll, the bread almost hot, and the cheese and bacon gooey but retaining form, as well as a generously proportioned apple turnover, with sweet, well balanced gooey apple insides and a firm and flakey, crispy pastry. There are not enough words in the English language to explain just how much I love the Banh Mi and spring rolls from this place. Jenny and her family are so sweet, and the food is fresh and always delicious. I won't go anywhere else for lunch, and I'm not even kidding. This place is always a bit of a hit or miss for me. Some days the rolls are delicious and full, but other days they are really dry and toppings are skimped out on. They could almost always do with more mayo + pate.

They also recently started spooning the chilli on, and it's now just way too much.

Also be wary that bags are 10 cents, and if you pay by card you're also looking at an additional surcharge. I never know how much I'm actually going to pay. Sometimes they'll also "accidentally" overcharge you, so definitely double check...
