👀 I was very excited to see the mountains gain a KBBQ my fav cuisine. Everytime we drove past it was super popular so we made a reservation. If coming on a weekend (day) parking is limited!! I love the name. Best KBBQ restaurant name. 💥 We had a table of 7 of us and we had two burners. Can’t wait to come again with a smaller table as I like to share just one burner. 💁🏼♀️ Service was on top of it and there’s a doorbell on your table if you need service. 🍷 Typical KBBQ drinks list with Korean beers, soju cocktails and sodas. 🍴 We had wagyu rib meat, marinated and not. I preferred the plain. Oyster blade. Vege plate. Marinated pork ribs. Sweet and spicy and snow cheese Korean fried chicken. Corn cheese and egg pot. I would love the corn cheese to be bigger it was enough for maybe 2 people max. All the meat was high quality, restaurant is very clean and spacious not small or Smokey!! ✨ My new fav in the mountains for sure. Already planning next visit in a...
Read moreVery well organised Korean BBQ restaurant in the little town of Leura. It was quite a surprise to is to find this gem of a restaurant in a suburb like this. Prices are quite steep if you are in for a BBQ. But there are other dishes on the menu like bibimbap, ramen soup, dumplings etc on the menu for $15-$25. Quite handy if you stay at the Leisure Inn Spires because it is in the same building where the reception/office is located. We has Wagyu Rib meat and Marinated Rib Fingers - both meat were tender and tasted amazing on the charcoal BBQ. Unlimited Side dishes like fish cakes, kimchi, potato salad, pickled radish is included if ordering BBQ. High chairs available to kids. Also some sauces too. We would definitely visit again when back in Blue Mountains.
Drive down the driveway adjacent to the building next to the pedestrian crossing, there are car parks behind...
Read moreBeautiful restaurant with attentive and welcoming staff. Was very excited to try their Korean fried chicken but was ultimately left disappointed as it's crumbing was thick and tasteless. The barbecue itself was delicious, the only other downside to this experience was that there was not a hint of spice in anything, not even the chilli chicken or the chilli sauce. There were freshly chopped green chillis but I'm personally not a fan of their flavour, certainly not combined with red chilli sauce, however if we were served less spicy food because we were white: fair play to you.
Overall, if you want Korean barbecue without the fired chicken and like to avoid chilli, this will be a five star experience for you, however if you are like me and want a spicier and more flavour intense, chicken wingy experience I recommend heading to Sanwiye Korean...
