Jobel's Cafe belmore — Restaurant in Sydney

NEVER EVER AGAIN! Been here twice, first and last time! The toilets were worse than a public toilet, the stench was disgusting. We then ordered coffee and toast (raisin toast and plain sour dough with honey!) and our toast came out 30 minutes later but we were still waiting on the coffee! The coffee came out 45 minutes later after I kicked up a stink and they then brought me 2 coffees in a take away cup! I told them that I’m paying extra for table service and that it is absolutely disgusting!!!!!!! My daughter’s hot chocolate also came 1 minute after our coffee and it came out in a take away cup too! I told them that I refuse to pay for this! This has got to be the worst cafe I have ever stepped foot in! NEVER...

I understand these times are tough with COVID for everyone but I am disappointed by my order I received from Ubereats. I added notes about drink choice which was ignored. I asked for bread choice which I provided multiple options due to my understanding that supplies may be short- ignored. My partners BLT was inedible. Old ingredients. Chewy what seemed old and microwaved bacon. Salad ingredients were past use by. Butter was clumped on bread like a cake topping. First went to Jobels probably a month ago - have only just moved into the area and not been out much because of lockdown. The coffee was the best I've had in many years, including europe. Returned today and what really struck me was that Jobel remembered my coffee before i even had to ask.. this is from being there one time a month before. Really impressive and passionate lady, you can tell she loves her customers. Will definitely be my local without bothering to try another.
