After spending over 250 dollars on food and beverage after 4 players played a full round of golf inclusive of cart hire, Upon receiving my lamb shoulder valued just shy of 50 dollars there was a strong odour and yellow tinge to the meat. At no point did any staff complete a meal check on our table nor clear drinks or plates providing the opportunity for feedback on my disappointing meat experience. Then taking my plate to the counter, I was avoided by two staff members until I walked into the kitchen asking to speak to any wait staff and or someone for assistance. I was greeted by a hostile “head Chef” female with blonde hair who said in all her culinary career she had never received one single complaint , with me explaining that the meat was inedible (nothing touched on the plate) I asked this to be batched checked before serving to anyone else. With the resumed hostility from the “head chef”, I asked for this to be escalated to a manager for a refund for a meal I was unable to consume. After another 10 minute wait with another lady staring at our table (two knot hun pony tails) stormed over failed to introduce herself or her role within the club, and all but threw the cash refund as I started to say thank you at me. To summarise with spending the amount of money we did today it is fair to assume we did not attend your club in the hope of not eating and chasing a refund. Just had a night out at the Sharks at Kareela Club. We were there 4 weeks ago and the meal took 1hr 10 mins, followed by a 20 minute wait to pay for the meal. We thought we would give it another go and see if this was just a off night. Well what a mistake coming back was. We sat down there was 6 people in the whole restaurant we were thinking surely nothing can go wrong tonight. My daughter went to the restraunt bar to order 4 drinks 1 cocktail, we ordered the food while she was at the bar , my daughter returned with the drinks minus the cocktail as the lady said she would bring it over, as we were drinking our drinks the garlic bread came and we finished the bread but still no cocktail , my daughter returned to the bar to enquire about the cocktail and the lady said oh yeah its coming no sorry or any reason then 10 mins later she got the cocktail no sorry or reason why it took 20 mins. Then the food came 2 Pizzas and 2 stakes, my sons $39 steak was ordered with no salad dressing medium cooked, his stake arrived very rare bright red with salad dressing he ate half and the chips. We told the waitress and she snapped back well he ate it, he didn't eat all the steak and is now at home sick from eating a roar steak. We paid the bill and complained about the steak and after 10 mins they refunded us for half a steak but no apology and just so entitled and arrogant.
