Update: I was contacted by KFC, they apologised and responded appropriately. I do appreciate their response and customer service but my original review still stands.
Original review (1 star): Have gone here a few times over the years - this past year they have not done so well and have ruined my opinion on them.
Twice my order has been screwed up and once it took 5 minutes to get through drive through.
I ordered a zinger box and snack box through drive through and proceeded to drive away. I pulled over a couple of streets over to check if my order was correct, it was not. Noticing this I returned, they apologised (which I respect) and took back the order. However the person behind me had actually received my order and they as well had returned. KFC just swapped the bags for us and gave us our original order, they did not offer to remake the food or anything (who knows what they other guy did to my food).
Second time I ordered two snack boxes through drive through. They simply just gave me one. I parked my car in their car park and came in to inform them. The worker was casually talking to someone else (they were not making an order) and did not serve me until a few minutes later.
Recently I went through drive through and waited 4 minutes with no response. After that they said "won't be a minute" before not returning for a couple more minutes. Promptly left after that.
This KFC is also consistently dirty, toilets aren't always up to standard and the tables having crumbs on them.
Head office please step in, if this is a head office store - management needs...

The twister (although still recovering from Head Offices’ decision to replace the tomato and lettuce with slaw) was fabulous. Wrap was soft, held well and smelt as fresh as the moist chicken within.
Hot & Spicy - crispy and tasty.
Wicked Wings - you must have just updated your frying. It’s always hit and miss at Dee Why. This evening/ every wing is crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle (and juicy) and holding itself together well.
Special mention - I requested 3 sauces in my twister (Chilli Relish, Pepper Mayo and Supercharged Sauce - The Holy Trio) - these sauces have been perfectly applied for flavour yet ensuring not to drown the chicken and keep it crispy….

Tonight it was inedible and money down the drain. Limp chips but hard in the middle, overcooked stringy tenders on the double-not-tender burger - couldn't eat it; tried biting into it and it was hard and chewy, (and stingy size), stale bun smelled old - the whole thing went into the bin. The chicken my husband ate was 'okay' but 'overcooked'.
Old and over-cooked chicken should be thrown in the bin. It's called quality control. You want your customers coming back.
The standard at Dee Why has declined markedly which is such a shame.
P.S. It's not good form to respond in a robotic disingenuous way with 'Damn... etc. Clearly an AI response or your standard schtick.
