Dining at Tibetan Peace Restaurant was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of calm and warmth — soft lighting, Tibetan art on the walls, and gentle traditional music created a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The food was outstanding. The steamed momos were some of the best I’ve ever had — tender dough, perfectly seasoned filling, and a spicy dipping sauce that brought everything together beautifully. The thukpa, a comforting noodle soup, was rich and flavorful, ideal for a cozy meal on a cool evening. I also loved the butter tea, which was smooth and uniquely satisfying. What really makes this place special is the hospitality. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to share their culture and cuisine. You can feel the care and heart that goes into every dish. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Tibetan food or trying it for the first time, Tibetan Peace Restaurant is a must-visit. Delicious food, peaceful vibes, and heartfelt service — it truly lives up...
Read moreI'm sorry but our family couldn't understand why all these 5 star ratings. We Googled "best eats in Dee Why" and have been trying them out over the past year. My husband thinks 2 stars is generous, as he'd have given a 1 star. We ordered the 3 dishes recommended by the waiter. It took 45 minutes for any food to arrive and the place was only half full, but looked fully staffed. They also had to ask us again what we ordered, despite only having 2 other tables left to serve. Best dish was the noodle broth Non Veg Thenthuk - tasty broth, but the chicken was overcooked/dry. The fried pastry w beef was oily and soggy with very little filling. My daughter said "I feel yucky after eating that". The Pork Fried dish was good flavour but the pork belly wasn't cooked long enough for the fat and skin to be pleasant to eat. BTW, their bathroom has to be the worst restaurant bathroom in Sydney. Ladies, don't go to the bathroom or you'll be peeing...

Definitely one of those places you want to keep coming back to. I’ll be returning soon for more delicious food! Highly...
