I can see from reading other reviews about this place, I am not on my own here with this ridiculous excuse of a KFC store in Marsden Park. Having worked for the company many moons ago, if I was still working, most of these staff members would have been fired on the spot! I have had multiple issues with this kfc at different visits and sometimes they were ok but majority of the time, they forget to give you what you paid for. I think if you go to fair trading and explain to them half the issues with this kfc, they would be in the line of fire! I don't know who is the main manager here but I hope you are reading this and can wake up to the way your business is run and what type of staff members you have working for you! Worst service you could imagine. The Kfc franchises are getting a terrible name because of your store!
I get to the drive through area recently and the monitors where you can see the menu to order is not working, so when a guy by the name of Joshua answers to take my order, I tell him the screen is not working and unsure of what I want to order. He says ' well what do you want me to do' the screens not working'. I ask him how am I supposed to order then? He replies with an attitude like no other "I don't know". I ask for the manager and drive up to the window and I see the manager laughing and talking to the rude kid Joshua, both smiling so I can clearly see the on duty manager did such an AMAZING JOB managing his rude staff member... NOT! Even the manager had a smart remark to say to me as well when I made a comment.
All i have to say is avoid going to this sh#@hole of a KFC with some seriously rude staff members working there. This review is not coming from my recent experience but from a handful of others and time and time again i give them a chance and went back but after the last visit, that broke the glass jar for me. If you are in need of a KFC craving, go to Plumpton market place or Rouse Hill KFC. It's a lot better managed and the quality of service is not even comparable to this place in...
Read moreOn Sunday, 19 October 2025 at 12:38 PM, we ordered two burger meal sets at KFC Marsden Park and received four bottles of sparkling water as part of the order. When we tried to drink the sparkling water, it had a strange plastic taste, so we checked the label and found that the best before date was 1 October 2025. On our way home, we stopped by the KFC store again to explain the situation and asked for a replacement. However, the staff told us that because we had taken the drinks two hours earlier, it was somehow our fault that the drinks were past their best before date. We couldn’t understand how this could be our fault when it was KFC that gave us sparkling water that had expired 18 days ago. All we wanted was a simple apology and a replacement for the expired drinks. We couldn’t help but feel that the staff misunderstood or dismissed us because we are Asian — as if they thought we were complaining only because the drinks were warm or not cold anymore. It felt discriminatory and disrespectful. The staff then brought over the person in charge, Victoria, who said she would check the CCTV footage to identify the employee who gave us the expired drinks and warn them. However, when we asked for the name of the staff member who made the discriminatory remarks, they refused to tell us. While we were still standing at the counter, that same employee went to the back and angrily talked about us to their coworkers — complaining about us loudly. Is that acceptable behavior for a staff member? We are very upset about how we were treated. It felt like they thought refunding the drinks was enough to end the matter, without acknowledging their responsibility or the disrespectful, discriminatory behavior we experienced. If you don’t believe our words, please check the CCTV footage from that day. Victoria confirmed that the footage exists. It was a very simple issue, but the way the staff handled it made the whole situation unnecessarily complicated and deeply...
Read moreThe products were always good and fresh, but the last time I came here left me fuming with the girl in the counter. I placed my order online, as always, got charged for it. I asked them to start cooking while I was on my way there (roughly 15 minutes before I got there). Then I got there, waited a little bit to be served (which is completely normal). The girl said my order wasn’t on the screen, I showed her my order from the app, n then she looked at the register, saying the order was cancelled. I then continued to tell her that I had been charged, n she initially said it will be refunded. I asked her “are you sure?” N she hesitated and then went to the back to probably consult with her manager. Came back to me, said it was all good but I needed to wait for 10 minutes for the chicken. I was starting to get frustrated at this point, what’s the point of me ordering ahead if I’m gonna end up waiting anyway? I waited n waited, quite impatiently cos I was starving. Then one guy came out, I assumed he is the manager, and there was a bag sitting next to the counter ALL THAT TIME I was there. He opened the bag, asked the staff what is that, the staff replied not sure. I then proceeded to ask him, is that my order? Double checking my order n what’s in the bag. And It was right. MY ORDER WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE TIME!! I wasted 30 minutes trying to get my order while my food was staring at me. I stormed out of there, too upset to even say anything. As a big corporation like KFC, you’d think they know what they’re doing....
