Kismet Grounds… it astounded me that I didn’t try this restaurant at my earliest convenience. After begging my partner to come down and give them a shot, there was no reluctance shown by myself or partner (we love food 🤷🏻‍♂️) Upon walking in, to a rather busy joint, we were met and greeted by a lovely, polite waitress and we’re seated in the midst of a clean, vibrant and culturally enriched eatery. I was too excited to place my order, and when my excitement + hunger combines, I make rash decisions. I ordered the ‘works burger’ AKA Legendary, so I assumed it was going to be legendary, and massive. I WASN’T WRONG. The burger was magnificent, with all the components merging together to form one of the best tasting, juiciest, most succulent burgers I’ve ever had. Be aware, it does get messy as it’s humongous. I was hoping they added a little more hot chips into the fray but nonetheless, the burger was phenomenal. Overall, Kismet Grounds merges a variety of cuisines together where they excel in producing quality food/drink items whilst also placing significant emphasis on portraying great customer service.

Plenty of parking with up to 3 hours free which makes it really convenient. We took the lift and made our way to Kismet Grounds in Granville. My wife and I always drive past and it always looked busy, so today we finally decided to stop in. We were hungry and definitely needed that hit. My wife was hoping the servings would be generous, and let’s just say she couldn’t finish her Garlic Prawns with Garlic Bread. The food was fresh, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. My Big Breakfast was perfect, the best Big Breakfast I ever had thus far, the bar is set and it's high. All the staff looked happy, welcoming and very well presented. Our server, I think was the Manager/ Owner which made the experience even better. The venue itself was clean, bright and spacious, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and next time I need to bring the whole family but I might have a cheeky breakfast, now and then.

Wonderful place, it was nice and spacious good atmosphere and staff, I would like to say as this is a place that serves food the quality was low for me, chicken schnitzel, wedges, hot chips and nuggets were super greasy and over cooked. The creamy mushroom sauce was not infact creamy at all, it was more like gravy with mushrooms in it,The Greek salad looked great and good portion although the after flavour wasn't too nice, the lentil soup wasn't traditional turkish soup it had a different flavour slightly sweet and it needed abit more life. Purchased chilli prawn which was not Chilli at all and in their tomato napoli sauce the skin of tomato was thick and not pleasant to eat Overall i wasn't too impressed. I think this place has great potential and just needs to up their level on the small things on their menu.

HONEST REVIEW TIME. I would give this place no stars if I could. Firstly I came here 2 weeks ago with my wife. We had a booking, seen about 6 tables free and yet it took 15 mins to get onto a table. Staff were hanging out on their phones even though there was a line waiting to get served. We had to approach staff to tell them we needed a table. We eventually sat down and had to ask someone about 5 mins later to bring us a menu. We spent another 15 mins waiting for a waiter to come and take our order, again we had to get up and find someone to order. While we were ordering, the waitress could not answer any question we had about anything we had asked as though it was her first time being there. It’s like we had to spell the order out for her to get it down. 5 minutes after we had made the order she had decided to finally tell us it’ll be a 45 min wait so we left. I thought you know what I’ll give them another chance, it looks like a beautiful place I’ll come again with my brother. But you know what, looks can be deciding. Fast forward to today. I came in for a feed with my brother. There was a big line and empty tables outside, nothings changed they’re still slow. It took another 5 mins for someone to bring us their menu. We ordered coffees immediately because it was a cold day and asked for them straight away. After ordering our food, it took them about half an hour to 40 mins for the food to come. Not only did the food come late, they didn’t even get our orders right. In the menu they said sour dough bread and Turkish bread but they brought whole meal and white bread toasted. The smashed avo was tasteless and I made it a lot better on my first attempt. They were still missing a lot of food. Mind you at this point we still hadn’t gotten our coffees. After asking them where the rest of our food is and telling them we have 2 missing hash browns and 2 coffees we ordered 40 mins ago they brought us the wrong coffees. My latte tasted like normal milk and my brothers mocha order was apparently a macchiato. The waiter then brings me 1 hash brown when we had 2 missing. Then we had to remind them for the 3rd time about the mocha, at this point the waiter asked if we still even want it. What kind of service is this. We’re not here to f#ck spiders we want our food and coffee. To top it all off, they gave my brother his coffee which was still not a mocha and the food tasted bland. This place has so much potential but the owner needs to seriously reconsider his staff. There’s no organisation, clearly no waiter has been trained to do their job. No business structure and the nicest thing we had on the menu was the hash browns. Would not recommend...

Used to visit here occasionally but service and quality has dropped so bad. Recently went and had the wrong food and wrong drink served to me 3 times each time more poorly made than the other. Each time I tried to call on a server they just ignored and served food and drink to people who’ve come after me. Even when I tried to leave they’d walk over to others and charge them at their table but when I stopped someone to ask to pay so that I could finally leave they just said “go to the counter”. Generally I’m not too fussy on little issues but in this instance it just didn’t end. Even when I approached the counter to pay the staff didn’t even speak to me instead they just waived an eftpos machine in front of me with an amount 2x what I owe. I corrected her on what table I was at, what I had and that I was paying cash. Her response was just “oh you didn’t tell me” whilst wobbling her head. Perhaps if you had asked before assuming I might’ve told you. Store isn’t kept clean, tables are wiped poorly with residue left behind, cups and cutlery aren’t wiped after washing, chairs still had crumbs from customer before me, tables and chairs are worn and shake. Goes to show why people prefer the eastern suburbs cafes over the western suburbs. Because in the western suburbs you get the full Indian/Bangladesh experience...

came here last Saturday afternoon with my gf, had my order taken by a waitress and spent 30-40 minutes seeing at least 4 other customers come and go after us. It wasn’t until I lost my patience and called over a nearby waitress to ask what the hold up was. 5 minutes later, a lady who I presumed to be the manager or owner came and told us that “the docket had been lost” and the kitchen never received our order and that our food will be ready in another 5-10 minutes.

Now while I understand that mistakes happen, I am mostly dissatisfied by the waitress who walked past us multiple times and didn’t once think “hmm, this table hasn't even been given their drinks and it’s been 30-40 minutes. Something must be wrong.” Then, to add insult to injury, I was offered NO form of compensation for the 30-40 minutes of my ONLY day off and time to spend with my gf, which was completely wasted. All I received was an insincere “sorry for the wait on your food” upon check out. This is a prime example of atrocious customer service and lack of empathy for a customer paying $91. At the very least I expected to have the price of the drinks waived. Never coming...
