Normally like spending time here but took the granddies during the holidays and was very disappointed. Too many mistakes made. First was milkshakes instead if thickshakes. The children liked them but I was told by two staff to take it up with the manager. Next my hot chocolate was not even Luke warm staff amicable and heated it up. Fish and chips were ok but extremely expensive $10 for a bowl of chips and $16 for kids meal. I have ordered fish and chips (adult) on a number of occasions. Better to buy this as one of those would do 4 children. Pancakes finally arrived and 3 of the little bowls of Maple syrup had at least one to 2 dead flies in each. I spoke to manager and he obligingly replaced each one with half the amount of icecream. On leaving the place I went to front counter to query the thickshakes and yes I had paid for them but got milkshakes. Manager was nowhere to be seen now, so one of the staff that I had already spoken to served me and offered an icecream to one of the grandchildren who was with me at the time but after eating chips pancakes and icecream he politely said no he did not want one. All well and good but there were 4 children and I stated that I should really just get a refund without question. The staff member did this which was $8.00. But due to the large number of mistakes made and the unhygienic Maple syrup and also flies crawling over the cakes in the display cabinet I will be very sceptical about going again. I think they should definitely be more careful and not send dead flies out to customers or ignore them crawling over the cakes in the...
Read moreI recently visited Kiss the Barista, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere
The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The menu offers a great variety, catering to different tastes, with both comfort food classics and more adventurous options. The freshness of the ingredients really shone through, and everything seemed crafted with care.
Service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. I never had to wait long, and they always checked in without being intrusive.
To top it all off, the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food and experience. It felt like a great value, especially considering the breathtaking views from the cafe. Whether you're seated indoors by the large windows or enjoying the outdoor seating, the scenery adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience.
In short, Kiss the Barista is the perfect spot for a casual meal, a special date, or just a relaxing coffee with a view. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely be...
Read moreGreat cafe with a lovely view for sure. It's next to the sailing club off to the side with lovely beach views. Attentive staff members on entry and throughout the service. We ordered English breakfast tea and soy cappuccino. All drinks were well made great tasting coffee. We ordered almond croissant and the Mediterranean breakfast. Croissant was huge and really tasty. The Mediterranean breakfast was well made. Poached eggs were well cooked and runny good olives and feta , tasty pita breads. The downside of this dish were the sausages and the hash brown. Unfortunately the sausage tasted like a basic supermarket sausage, which is nothing so wrong , but at $27 I expected something a little better like at least a butcher bought sausage. The hash brown tasted kind of like a frozen one or like a maccas one, again nothing wrong with those but I would have expected a slightly better one in a proper cafe. Towards the end of our breakfast there was a strange bad smell coming into the cafe not sure if it was from the beach digging but it put us off. I wouldn't blame the cafe for that it was just a point to mention. Overall not bad probably would drop on for coffee and...
