I wish I could give this place a 50 out of 5. The best service ever and you can literally taste the love in the food! This is some of the best Lebanese food Iâve ever had (and Iâve had a lot). I encourage everyone to try it!
From the dough made from scratch to the parsley and tomato, everything is fresh. The food is delicious and cooked well.
Laylaâs Cafe deserves more recognition! I live here in Richmond and had never noticed or heard of the restaurant until I smelled the beautiful food from outside whilst walking past one day. I scrapped my prior food plans and followed the scent.
I was greeted with the most warm and welcoming customer service and amazed at the pricing whilst checking out the menu. Best value for money restaurant hands down. Just an overall gem of a place.
And honestly, the portion sizes and freshness are amazing - the kafta roll is PACKED with meat, Iâm talking like 5 or 6 kaftas (at least it feels like it, Iâm not counting lol) and fresh home made hommus and other ingredients.
Variety of the menu is also awesome.
I could go on all day long, but go eat here and find out yourself lol. You wonât regret it. Their food turned me into a free marketer for them lol.
Thank you for the amazing food and...
Read moreLast night I was tired after a long work day and craving some good protein (for that read meat).
Walking up and down Windsor Street I spotted the outside black board signs spruiking all sorts of meat plates and kebabs. While I did not want a kebab I am certain their kebabs are not the 2am on highway kebabs after a night out.
The restaurant is tiny. The shop front is narrow. Go in and discover the lovely family who own and operate this Lebanese restaurant/take away.
My choice was their lamb plate (see the photograph) with hummus, pickled veges, baked onions on a skewer, lebanese bread and normally chips. I canât have chips so they cheerfully substituted with another skewer.
I thought the order was taking awhile. Now I understand why. Everything was so fresh and the lamb beautifully cooked, tender with flavour. As you can see I did not go hungry.
The price was very reasonable. I am happy to have been able to support this family.
I walked back to my motel with my meat cravings well satisfied. Next time I must try one of their kebabs which no doubt will surpass a highway snack. There will be a next time because Laylaâs is on my delightful...
Read moreThe best âkebab shopâ in all of Sydney. Without a doubt, this is the freshest and best kebabs and authentic Lebanese food. The chicken skewers may have been the most tender chicken i have ever had, and the homemade garlic sauce was absolutely delicious. The lamb kebab is so fresh, and unlike other kebabs in Sydney is not heavy or greasy. It is beautiful, I wouldnât go anywhere else in not just western Sydney, but the whole of Sydney. Not only is the food the best of the best, it is run by the most beautiful family. It is a small business that cares about the quality of the food and is made and prepared with the utmost love. These people are so generous and it is reflected in their food and prices. Laylaâs Lebanese Cuisine is worth the 5/5 on all aspects of their business, and especially on the staffâs amazing efforts...
