Finally got my grubby hands around their lamb shank dish after three visits! It was worth the wait. Serving is generous and very filling. Recommended highly by my next door neighbour. And finally went to dinner. They have $15 pub specials everyday, lunch and dinner. Serving size is generous for $15. We were both very happy with our meals, but I was not impressed with the bruschetta. The bread was soggy and it was on brioche, instead of toasted sourdough or ciabatta, which would have been much better (it doesn't go soggy quickly). Aside from the misfired bruschetta, the barra and rump steak were amazing. Both dishes went down a treat. Portion size were large too. I love their chicken wings as well. The only sauce I like out of the three (ranch, buffalo, cola BBQ) is the BBQ sauce. Their prawn springrolls are so good: pure prawn meat, no fillers (vegetables, fake crab meat, etc. like the Chinese springrolls). However, I recommend trying it with their cola BBQ sauce, instead of sweet chilli sauce. It tates better. Also, there is discounted prices if you join Punlinc (it's free via QR code), discounts between $1-$6 for each food items. Just remember your table number. Service was great and very friendly. Food took a bit longer but I figured it was busy on Friday night. I would recommend reserving tables on Friday and Saturday nights, as the venue is extra busy. Keep in mind, they are busy every day of the week.

Dropped in for lunch on a Tuesday hoping it would be not to busy but was packed.. good sign ? We did have a wait but it was ok as i mentioned it was very busy it looked like a retirement village was out on day release and they had filled the joint. The eftpos was down ( not their fault ) but shows why we need cash in our pockets ! I paid for a so called "smash" burger and went the double only to be served a single which was an obvious frozen patty that had been squished and charred on the outside.. it was very average i could taste the sausage mince in it.. The bun was dry and overall not what a fresh smash burger should be. ( I've tried them in the states and this wasn't it ) The staff were friendly and did offer a free desert but I had lost my appetite by then. My friend had fish and chips which looked better than the burger and he said it was good but not great. I will try one more time hopefully it was just a bad day but keep clear of the burgers until they do them with fresh chuck/brisket mince.

Smells like smoke here. Not enough tables if you want to eat, you definitely need a booking if you want to sit away from the sports bar where it smells like smoke. We got here before 3:30pm and mostly all tables are reserved for 5pm, 6pm etc. and waiters not gonna let you sit on those tables even though there's still plenty of time. And getting told off in a way that you felt like youre getting kicked out and did something bad (just for sitting on the table that's reserved for 6pm). We were standing and waiting to order at the cashier, but the same waiter told us that they wont take order til 330pm, it was 3:26pm that time. He didn't say in a way to inform us, he said in a way that you feel like he's telling you to just go and leave. Maybe just lazy and dont want to clean the table again. Feeling that you just want to leave and not welcoming here as getting kicked out of the table you were sitting. Nevertheless, food is good and cheap. I guess the bad experience is just because of that one waiter.

ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTED... we walk in and order our meals and get to the counter, we see the specials and the twice cooked pork belly looks amazing, so I order that ( instead of a steak).

I make a mention to please put the gravy ON THE SIDE and NOT on top of the PORK CRACKLE, the lovely staff member says - I think they put it on the side , BUT I will make MENTION of it as well - TO MAKE SURE .

We go into the pokie room - put some money through and our buzzer goes off....we get to the counter - oops wasn't ours, but it wont be long.

At the point I can see a plate with mash on it and another plate with chicken snitzel ( which is what my partner ordered ).

so we take a seat and wait. We can see the pork coming out about 10 minutes later onto the plate that had the mash - I see it and think YUM !! then he POURS THE GRAVY OVER THE TOP ( im thinking that had better not be mine ) IT WAS !!!! I said NOOOOOOO - the gravy is meant to be on the side........ the cooks look at each other - takes 5 minutes to decide what they are going to do and a new pork goes in the cooker.

MEANWHILE THE WHOLE TIME the chicken is left on the bench under the heat light for a good 15 minutes at least - im sitting at the table not very happy thinking they had better redo the chicken as well or else it will be cold.

NOPE they add hot chips to it and serve out both plates.

needless to say my appetite had shrunk and I hardly touched my meal, my partner ate his.

4 HOURS LATER he will very ill and was throwing up - NO DOUBT because HAM and CHEESE had been left for ages on the BENCH !!!!!!!

( we gave them a chance after out first visit since renos, we ordered a pizza and we couldn't even pick the piece up of the serving tray. we had to eat with knives and forks ??? )

NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!

I wish I could...

I had my daughter's 21st Dinner at Leumeah Hotel last night, Saturday 12th June 2021. A group of 20 people including family and friends. They have a members club which is free to join and have a variety of meals that are $15 (members price) which is value for money. I had the rump steak topped with creamy garlic prawns (extra $6), salad and chips (or you could have mash & veges) and gravy on the side to dip chips in. The rump was cooked to perfection and was nice and tender. When I asked ppl about their dinner, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

The staff were friendly and obliging. Dinner plates and glasses were collected throughout the meal. I needed a jug of hot water and a long knife to cut my daughters cake which was no hassle at all to the staff. They supplied plates for the cake and serviettes and happily got more plates when needed.

The atmosphere was great. We could hear people when they spoke and the cleanliness of the venue in the bistro area and bathroom was impressive.

I would highly recommend Leumeah Hotel for...
