Lewis Kitchen Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

As I live in the area and have driven past I've always wanted to try this restaurants food. And after reading some good reviews we decide to try for dinner last night 2.7.2025. I ordered over the phone in which we would be picking up. The guy was pleasant and spoke reasonably good english. I ordered a large special fried rice, a plain egg omlette, a honey chicken, a sweet n sour pork and a mongolian beef. Total $82 and he gave a free drink. The honey chicken and the sween n sour had the same size chicken bites, just different sauce. The sweet n sour didnt have much onions, carrots or capsicum and no sesame seeds on the honey chicken. Both were okish otherwise. The special fried rice wasnt really that special. The egg I thought was nice enough and the mongolian beef I don't eat but my husband said it was ok. Overall we thought the food was pretty average and we probably wont be going again unfortunately. I was really hoping for...

We ordered at 5:20 on a Saturday night, and asked for pick up at 6pm. The food was ready on time, hot, fresh and amazing. For those who complain it takes too long for delivery, DO NOT rely on food delivery services in this area. They are notoriously bad! Blaming the restaurant for a third party issue is not fair. If the food is bad because it is LATE that is not their fault. When the food is fresh, it is always fantastic. Imagine how many people would call and complain to the restaurant each night about something that they have no control over! They would be frustrated and snappy after the first few calls, let alone ten or fifteen a night. Have some courtesy and save your ire for the delivery service and pick up your food instead....

After spending a couple of hundred dollars on a home delivery order, food was dry fried rice looked and tasted more like boiled rice, sweet and sour pork was dry, requested no prawns in any of the dishes prawns in the Singapore noodles and rice, spring rolls not delivered, beef and blackbean meat was not cooked properly restaurant notified delivery driver after 1hr returned with spring rolls and Singapore noodles again with prawns in the noodle and springrolls only half cooked absolutely disgusted by the quality of food and customer service, be interested to see if the restaurant ACTUALLY read any of the reviews,...
