Great pizza, great food. But I’ve said this before in my reviews. I can’t hack scammers. We always order ala carte, this time the waitress sucked us into ordering the ā€œALL YOU CAN EATā€. Don’t be fooled by ā€œALL YOU CAN EATā€, it’s not. Essentially it’s just a set menu that you share between yourselves. The food served is not enough to satisfy you. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. 4 adults shared 2 pizzas and 2 plates of pasta. Barely all you can eat. 🄓 we ate everything on the table, pizza trays and pasta bowls were empty, yet no extras were bought out. No one even came to offer if we wanted more…. crickets. What a scam. My kids are fussy, they only eat the garlic pizza. It comes out as the starter, when I asked for more garlic pizza they said no. So I had to order extra garlic pizzas for the kids off the menu. So not only did they charge me all you can eat price for my kids, they charged the extra garlic pizza too. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« you lose points for the scam. This is the size of the pasta we all had to share. Oh it’s BYO grog, had we know we would have bought our own instead of drinking lemonade.

UPDATED - I previously gave 5 star for their amazing gnocchis. Don’t know if they have changed chefs but the last 3 times I’ve been here, their Gorgonzola and Pesto gnocchis have just been overly lathered in thickened cream and doesn’t taste authentic anymore. Anyone can chuck extra thickened cream on and serve it up. Buon appetit (no affiliation) has $15 gnocchi (same serving size) and made more authentically. I use to justify spending $27 on gnocchi here but I’m not going to pay double for an inferior product again. ———— I normally don’t give 5 stars but recently moved to Camden and found this restaurant. We ordered the gnocchi Gorgonzola and pesto pasta takeaway. Our Gnocchis were so soft and overall dish was generous yet the quality was there. I like that they didn’t have to load with salt for the dish to taste decent. I saw a reviewer gave average review as their gnocchi was too soft. To me, that’s a plus as generally if the gnocchi is too hard I would assume it’s store bought. I can’t wait to come again.

I regret spending my birthday here.. We sat down and the table was disgusting and sticky. The restaurant was so loud! Between the screaming kids and large, intoxicated group at the back, we couldn’t have a conversation at all.. We opted for ā€œall you can eatā€ but buyer beware.. It’s anything but. We arrived at 7pm and received our entree within 15 minutes.. We didn’t receive our first pizza until 8pm and we were told we couldn’t order anything else until it was gone (it was demolished within a matter of minutes) we then waited 15 minutes to place another order and sat there a further 30 for it to arrive. In two hours we had entrees and two pizzas.... Hardly ā€œall you can eatā€ and given that one of us is vegetarian, the other missed out. The pizzas are very thin and we left unsatisfied. The only reason we both agreed to give any stars was because the bruschetta pizza we had for entree was well seasoned and a refreshing take on a traditional bruschetta.

Worst customer service. I went in on a busy Saturday night which is understandable that the staff would of been busy, but instead the young girl at the front was standing on her phone chatting to someone, while I stood there for 5 mins before even being acknowledged. We had also ordered the food online for a certain time as that was the only time we could get there, and also the time we wanted out food, instead we got a notification 25mins prior to our chosen time to collect the food that the food was ready. We were very disappointed in seeing that as what was the point in allocating a time if they didn't follow it anyway? So we called them and simply asked why our food was ready so early, and if they could remake it for the time that we had asked, instead the lady on the phone was simply rude and said its not their problem and that's just the way that they do things there. If that is the way that they do things there why ask for time you want the food to be ready on the website. They said after asking for a refund as we didn't want cold pizza for dinner they said since it was already made that they cannot offer a refund. So I got there and our food was already sitting on the table ready, amongst a lot of other food that looked like it had been sitting there for a while too. Once I had gotten home and saw the pizza I was disgusted, it was stone cold had about 2 jalapeƱo's on all of the pizza, it was sloppy and just simply inedible, same as the pasta that we got too. We had to reheat all of it making it soggy and just simply gross. The pasta was just straight fried egg and penne, even though it normally is a creamy carbonara. After this experience and normally eating in the restaurant every few weeks I will not be returning, the lack of care and customer service was just disappointing from all staff that I had interacted with. Do better for your...

I booked a dinner online a day prior for our anniversary on a Monday night. In the notes I asked if we could be seated upstairs where it would be more quiet for us and mentioned a wine bucket so we could keep a bottle of champagne cold over dinner. Given that I booked so late, I highly doubted that my requests would even be read let alone met and completely exceeded. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely waitress and shown to our table upstairs that was complete with a bucket of ice in the middle of the otherwise empty top floor of the restaurant. (I was very surprised by this as we arrived behind a group of other diners and the back dining room was already busy with a bunch of people) Our waitress was amazing - I wish I'd caught her name. Our food was brought out quickly and each thing was INCREDIBLE. I have had both takeaway and eaten in here several times over the years and have always thought it was fabulous, but tonight it was just perfection. We got up to leave when we were finished, super full and so happy with our night here, when our waitress told us they had a suprise for us and encouraged us to sit back down. She brought out a nutella calzone with icecream and a chocolate sauce "happy anniversary"... I honestly wanted to cry. We are slowly but surely making our way through all of the restaurants and cafes in this area, and this one has by far been our favourite. We were absolutely blown away by the entire experience from start to finish, so so grateful and are going to make Antico's a more...

We recently lost our favourite pizza place that had changed ownership to produce absolutely crud pizza, to then look up and attend this local gem, which is by far the best pizza we have ever had in the area and possibly ever!!! A real blessing that's for sure! We were very impressed with how many staff were employed to provide a customer service standard that exceeds anything you would typically get in Australia (I can vouch for this being as top quality as customer service in the USA!). The food was so delicious + came out quickly and the restaurant in a really lovely spot off the main road (didn't find parking too tricky). My poor hubby is allergic to cheese and they know how to do a cheeseless pizza that isn't soggy. Like the garlic bread substitute tasted amazing even without the cheese. Even the humility was out of this world - they couldn't believe we wanted to give them a tip which we did. Again the service at Antico's has exceeded really exxy CBD venues. The wait staff were prompt to clean up the mess and when they talked it wasn't too little or too much - very happy and smiley, checking that everything was going great. Ambience is very warm inside, not too dark or too light. I've found out of a private room upstairs so will be considering this in the future. Well done Antico's and keep up the great work - may you grow and...
