20.12.24 - went there again with some friends, giving them second chance (after restaurant was not managed by Krean/Japanese). Ordered tonkotsu ramen...serving is relatively huge, soup was just alright, a bit thin n watery. The worse thing was the char-su. It was not grilled and the meat was SOUR! The only time meat turns sour is when it has been kept for too long! Unbelievable. The salmon sashimi was not frest but looked cloudy, not clear and shiny as it should be. When a Japaneae restaurant is not managed by a Japaneae or Korean, it is almost guaranteed the quality is crap. NEVER give 3rd chance. VERY JNREECOMMENDED!!!

18.03.21 We came and placed our orders. 2 bowls of ramen + set of Takoyaki and edamame, 1 chicken karage dish. The ramen came 30 mins later. The guests who arrived later than us had their meals first. When I called...they said they made a mistake. I was almost cancelling the order. But seeing that they were ready...we took the order. When the ramen came...one of them was wrongly made. Not only the disaster finished there...our karage chicken never turned up. When I asked he boy who took our order...he denied that I placed the order. Instead of apologising, he gave us the look and walked away unguiltily. I have to give credit to the girl who kept on apologising and offered us free dessert (but we turnd it down after ruining my friend's birthday dinner!). Think twice before coming to this restaurant!. They may ruin your special occasion without...

This place has been my go to but I have to post this review as the quality has dropped a lot.

The medium sashimi platter differed greatly in presentation w the usual and the pieces (tuna especially) were not fresh. The kingfish and salmon sashimi still had lots of the skin on it. The scallops were one piece cut thinly into 3 slices to be counted as “3 sashimi” pieces. A rip.

The ramen soup was also diluted and lacking flavor. I think they are cost cutting in their ingredients and the taste and freshness in sashimi really shows.

Also, we waited over 40mins for a simple ramen to first come. And we followed up on an order which the waiter staff forgot to put through. The waiter didn’t apologize just said it’ll be at least another 15 min wait if we still want it. By that time we were already frustrated and over the food quality so we didn’t bother.

No thanks to this place, you guys have lost a...

My friend took me to this Japanese restaurant on a Saturday afternoon as it was her favourite restaurant in the area. She would often take her family out to dinner to this particular restaurant.

The service was near perfect, they cleaned our tables and welcomed us with a friendly smile.

We checked in ✅ via NSW Services and got seats in a nice comfortable booth.

The menu was extensive. So many food options from Ramen, to bento boxes, to rice bowls etc!

I ordered 4 Spicy oysters, and a mix sashimi plate! It was super fresh and delicious!! On top of that, they gave us miso soup with our meal! And that was so yummy 🤤

I enjoyed my food & beverage (I ordered this can of white grape) drink, it was super refreshing!!

The ambience was quite chill & casual. I would 💯 recommend this Japanese restaurant in the heart of Campsie!

It was only 5-10 minutes from Campsie station,...

The ramen was pretty delicious - nothing amazing, but it satisfied me real good. The sushi was surprisingly tasty and fresh. The chefs were really understanding and nice when I interacted with them but, there were a couple of wait staff that seemed extremely new to the job and weren’t able to speak English. This led to miscommunication and getting the wrong order. However, overall, still would recommend you to go and check this store out if you’re in Campsie and you’re craving some ramen. They have both pork broth and the lighter chicken broth and it hits the spot when it’s cold outside.
