DRIVE THROUGH STAFF HAD MAJOR ATTITUDES.. NO EYE CONTACT, NOT HELPFUL... SPOKE TO LADY MANAGER FRIDAY 11TH EVENING SHIFT 2100HRS AND SAID "SORRY BOUT THAT.. " WHY 2 ROBOTIC DRIVE THROUGH STAFF WERE THERE, SAID SHES GOT NOTHING TO APOLOGISE FOR, THE 2 SAID NOTHING AFTER I SAID HAVE A NICE NIGHT.... AS SHE BASICALLY SHOVED MY ORDER AT ME.. STIL NOT A WORD... GOOD TO SEE OTHERS HAVE HAD SIMILAR EXP... SAD TO SEE A 3 STAR RATING AND OWNER OR MANAGERS DONT SEEM TO GIVE MUCH CARE THERE STORES RUN BY EMOTIONLESS, EVEYTHING IS A HASSLE TWEENS ... MAYBE IF I TEXT MESSAGE THEM ID GET AN EMJOI SMILE BACK.. HOW HARD IS IT TO SMILE OR TALK!!!! FOR THOSE WHO SAY LEAVE THEM A LONE THEY ARE ONLY KIDS.. NO I WON'T, THEY NEED TO LEARN, HOW TO COMMUNICATE . ITS NOT MY FAULT THEY WERE ALL GIVEN TROPHIES.FOR TURING UP AY SPORTS...OR SAID THEY WERE SPECIAL .. WELCOME TO THE WORKFORCE DO YOUT JOB... NOT HARD! LEARN FROM THE OLDER STAFF AT CBAH MACCAS THEY HAVE PERSONALITIES AND FACIAL EMOTIONS AND SPEAK WHE SPOKEN TOO.. SO TO SAY USUSLLY THIS ISN'T THAT BAD BUT TONIGHT'S LOVELY EXPERIENCE AND THE GREAT WAY THE MANAGER HANDLED IT . 100% WILL BE DOING WHAT MOST LOCALS DO GO TO TAREN POINT MACCAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE AT THAT STORE HOW PJORLY RUN CARINGBAH IS..DONT HAVE TO WAIT NEARLY 30 MINS FOR a MACCAS GOURMET BURGER...HOW HARD IS IT TO TALK OR HAVE EYE CONTACT... HOPE ITS NOT THE NORM.... GOD HELP US ALL......
Read moreI have been going to maccas at different locations on and off for the past 16 or so years. I've been to the caringbah store many times in the past and have never had a real issue. Sometimes I've had to wait 20 mins if it's really busy.
Tonight was by far and away the worst 'service' I've ever had at a McDonald's. I ordered just one apple pie and waited 45 minutes for it. I could have done their job, walked in and removed it from the heater and been done in 10 seconds. There was no ticket generated from the machine, instead it displays the number on screen for 3 seconds so if you miss it good luck knowing what your order is. At least 20 orders were piling up on the counter (mainly uber eats) all going cold whilst everyone is so hungry they're ready to eat their receipt. All the uber drivers crowd around the orders so you can't see what's been made.
Most people in the store had been waiting at least an hour. They had 2 kitchen staff on and 1 girl on the counter when we walked in, which later increased slightly. Ridiculous. The only positive is that I met some people who couldn't believe how bad the service was and we started laughing about it.
Maccas put some more staff on.
I won't be back to this store for a very long time. Will go to Taren...
Read moreWhilst the order was correct, the praise only goes that far. 20mins from the time of ordering to when I received my food, which was cold and soggy, while the mcflurries that were barely half-full. Mcflurries are supposed to be 5 1/2 swirls, it would be generous to say we received 3. Fries are supposed to be just over the yellow lines and not sitting in the fry station for more than 7 minutes. The fries were cold as and looked like a medium poured into the large, which means they were either resting in the fry-station for over seven minutes, or had been placed in the bag and forgotten about. We had to reheat everything when we got home- mind you that is 2 mins up the road.
Clearly staffing and/or management is an issue as an employee (dressed and with his backpack) about to leave was told “I know you’ve clocked off but can you hand out these counter orders”. There was about 6 people in the counter/waiting area altogether).
