I attempted to order the new McGriddles via the app, making sure to place the order well before the 10:30am breakfast cutoff. My plan was to ensure the order was submitted in time so it would be ready once I arrived at the restaurant.
Unfortunately, around 15 minutes laterâafter I had arrived at the restaurant and even saw my order number appearâthe app cancelled my order and prompted me to check its content. This was incredibly frustrating, especially as a customer who understands how the system works and took the necessary steps to avoid issues.
That said, I want to make it clear this wasnât the fault of the restaurant staff. In fact, I spoke to a staff member I believe to be the manager, Kylie, who was kind enough to apologise, even though the issue was clearly out of her control.
After placing a new order for pancakes for my daughter, Kylie went out of her way to approach me again and made it possible for us to try the McGriddles despite the earlier app issue. It was a standout moment of customer serviceâespecially considering how busy and seemingly understaffed the store was at the time.
Thanks to Kylieâs effort, we got to try the McGriddles and⊠safe to say weâll definitely be buying them again!

   Read morePlease be aware that customers can hear your staff making a mockery of modified orders, it is extremely disrespectful for your staff to speak on customers orders, a worker making burgers was complaining about having to make a paid order- do not have staff that donât understand what their work expectations are. Teach staff the expectations when working in a public place to be respectful towards everyone as their job is not to discuss an order for a disabled person- their job is to simply make it.
