Appalling at every level.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was one of my worst experiences at a McDonaldâs or any other food place in recent years. The last was at the same branch around four years ago. On that visit, I witnessed staff drop food on the floor, then pick it up and pack it into a bag a hand it over to a drive-through customer... Nice.
Yesterday I only went in for an ice coffee. The place was almost empty, it wasnât visibly understaffed, but yet staff still ignored me standing at the McCafe counter for over ten minutes. Iâd repeatedly made eye contact with a few of the staff and smiled in a way that clearly read, Yes Iâm waiting. In this time theyâd only served two other customers at the food counter. At this point I even pointed at the other counter in an obvious gesture as to, do you want me to move over? Nothing indicated this section being closed, but even when repeatedly gesturing, should I move to the other counter, did anyone respond, they just looked away and carried on talking and fooling around like kids.
The McCafe preparation area was also really dirty.
When I came in it was the peek of a 37 degree day, theyâd also left the doors open and had two bottles of open milk left out on the counter. These had obviously been left for a while before Iâd come in and had visibility warmed up to the point that any condensation that would have formed on the outside of the bottles had by now completely dried from the outside of the bottles. The lids had been left off and flies were crawling around inside the bottles, yet until I stoped them, this was still the milk they were going to use in my ice coffee.
Even then, no effort was made making the coffee, the girl didnât even tamp the coffee after grinding it, she just ground the coffee into the portafilter and slammed the loose pyramid of ground coffee into the visibility dirty machine.
She then pushed the haphazardly made coffee across the counter and immediately walked off. As she hadnât given me a straw (and you canât really drink from the ice coffee cups without one), I then looked for straws. None were on the McCafe counter or where I would normally expect to find them, on the condiment a napkin station. I then had to wait another three or so minutes for anyone to acknowledge me again and tell me where they were, again they were too busy farting around and chatting about obviously non work related stuff.
I was in here for at least twenty or so minutes and in that time only two three other customers came in on the restaurant side, maybe three more through the drive through, nobody placed large or complicated orders.

And i answered her back I AM ORDERING SUGAR PACKETS FROM YOU NOW to her disgusting,rude & shocking lousy customer service!!! Then she demanded her staff member pulled out the draw & gave me BUNCH OF SUGAR PACKETS?!!! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT AWFUL RACIST ATTITUDES FROM A MCDONALD'S STAFF MEMBER?!!! I wasn't sure if she was being racist because i am a Chinese lady. So i asked another staff member get me the duty manager as i wanna report about this rude orange hair staff member shocking worst attitude of customer service i ever met in 20 years & it is such ashamed to have this awful staff member working in Mcdonalds!!! Then guess what? Orange hair staff member came out to me as she was the duty manager.    Read moreEvery time I have come to this McDonald's I have experienced the same horrible customer service. No one is ever near the counter, so they'll leave you waiting for 30 minutes while they prioritise the drive-through customers with no way to ask for updates on your orders. Then when we go through drive through we get served passive aggressively. Your staff are all young, and the young manager in the blue uniform on Sunday the 10th of March at around 3pm, that wasn't very nice of you to chuck the food out the window to us and not even look at us nor smile. Don't see the staff getting other jobs in the near future given their attitudes when at their place of work.
Update: Ordered 2 mnm McFlurries with chocolate hot fudge and chocolate ice cream. Received two vanilla McFlurries with no hot fudge!!! How hard is it to get an order right? Or do maths either? We paid in cash and the screen literally tells you the change to give. She gave us $2 short and showed attitude when we asked for it back? Yâall should either shut down or hire adult staff. Your staff clearly have NO idea what they are doing. Every time I go there, they get the order wrong. EVERY TIME! SO angry with this one now...
