I ordered the buy-one-get-one-free Mandi deal on Uber Eats and specifically requested extra sauce because the Mandi from Mehfil tends to be quite dry and the chicken quite tough, it really needs the sauce to be enjoyable. My request for extra sauce was declined (which wouldâve been fine), but the issue was that I only received one white sauce and two red sauces. The white sauce is the one that actually makes the dish less dry, so it made both servings almost inedible.
When I called to clarify and asked if I could come by to pick up an extra sauce and if they could offer a small side for the trouble, I was told bluntly that the deal only includes one set of sauces, no matter how many Mandis are in the order. When I pointed out that this doesnât quite align with a âbuy one get oneâ offer, the staff member responded dismissively and with a rude tone.
I used to be a regular at Mehfil Merrylands and always had decent experiences there. Since moving, Iâve usually ordered from Mandi King, who handle customer issues quickly and professionally. I decided to give Mehfil Auburn a try, but the customer service and attitude were disappointing.

Read moreSo we went there for the iftar buffet they advertised on socials. Initially it looked reasonable but in real when we went there the overall experience was not good at all. Firstly, they made those odd faces when we asked about dine and discover vouchers, they don't accept it for iftar buffet. However, we had to take that deal as we were fasting. The seating arrangement is very poor for a buffet style dine. The table they served buffet had just few items as mentioned in the leaflet but I wish the overall quality was good. The fruit they served were only banana and mandarins, some snacks, drink and then comes the main dishes. The biriyani and chicken curry was ok. The other chicken curry is too salted. Lastly the mutton haleem, that was a insult to haleem actually. I don't know what it was a slimy grey color thick gravy like mud not at all looked like haleem. Dessert was some tin golab jamun I guess. Overall, we were so disappointed with the food quality and service. It felt like they didn't made or arranged it from heart, they just did because they have to. Total...

We recently visited Mehfil Restaurant in Auburn, renowned for its authentic Hyderabadi cuisine. Drawn by the promise of fresh paan and kadak tea, we were delighted by the seating arrangement, comfortably accommodating around 20 patrons.
As we entered, the inviting aroma of spices wafting from the kitchen heightened our anticipation. Mehfilâs popularity is well-deserved, especially for their delectable haleem, chicken 65, and signature biryani. For dessert lovers, the gulab jamun and double ka meetha are not to be missed â pure indulgence.
The friendly staff and the ambience transported us straight to Hyderabad, making our dining experience truly memorable. Satisfied patrons were a common sight, adding to the restaurantâs charm.
Whether you're craving a hearty biryani, flavorful mandi, or succulent tandoori chicken, Mehfil offers these delights at reasonable prices, all within a welcoming atmosphere.
