Worst service ever.
The server who took our order at the counter was totally distracted and was talking on his phone half the time. We placed order for beef bihari and he wrote chicken bihari. When our order came (which came ages late - people who came after us were getting their orders before). When we finally got our order we asked the waiter why he brought chicken instead of beef bihari, he just shrugged and said oh if you ordered beef this must be the beef (because clearly we can't tell the difference between beef and chicken). Then the owner came and said that they wrote down chicken by mistake while taking the order and they're out of beef now. The owner didn't apologise, he just blamed it all on the guys taking the order saying he wrote it down wrong it's not our fault.
We had also ordered nihari, and when our food started coming the owner came to tell us that actually they don't have any nihari left (isn't this something you should tell your customers while ordering, not when youre bringing out their food?).
We had also ordered chaat as a starter which came after we were almost through with our main course. When we pointed that out, the server just said 'you should look at how crowded the place is, obviously there will be delays' - it wasn't that crowded, it was moderately full. If you feel like you won't be able to give bare minimum service then you should refuse to take in more customers. The response was quite rude.
While we were paying three separate groups came to complain about the delay in their order. Our food came a good hour after we ordered.
The worst thing about the entire experience was that the staff was so disrespectful and didn't show an ounce of remorse or even apologise once. Their entire attitude demonstrated that they're actually doing us a favour by giving us food, and 'it is what it is, take it or leave it'.
The food was good - but the entire experience was so bad that we don't think we will...

Hi Srijana, As we can see, you are claiming we made food for 140 people for the wedding that had 180 to 190 guests on Saturday at Paradiso Receptions. We know this because the venue gave us the seating list and told us how many people were on the floor, including children, which you didn’t count! You are the same clients who called a day before the event and changed the order from 170 people to 150 people worth of food, expecting to get more than what you paid for. Gupshup Catering always makes food for 10 extra guests, which we did on Saturday, but expecting more than 50 extra servings would’ve come at a charge you weren’t willing to pay. Please understand that it was your shortcomings that led you here.
Response from Customer :
Thank you for your response. However, I would like to clarify a few points. Our order was placed for 150 people, and the event had approximately 140 guests, not the 180-190 you mentioned. If the function center claimed we had that many guests, they would have charged us more. If they provided this information, please let us know. I also have a guest list, and I will take a screenshot of this to include in my review of the function center.
Despite this, the food provided was insufficient, which was disappointing for both us and our guests. Additionally, the butter chicken and biryani, which were supposed to be the main attractions, lacked meat. This is unacceptable, given the nature of these dishes. To make matters worse, the bride, groom, and their family members were unable to eat because the food had run out. These issues significantly impacted our event and fell far below our expectations.
Further, the bride, groom, and their family members could not eat as the food had run out
While I appreciate your efforts, this situation has left us very dissatisfied. We hope you take this feedback seriously to improve your service for...
Read moreTHE OWNER HERE HARASSED ME PUBLICLY.
UPDATE: The owners claiming I shouted, I never did. The owner shouted at me and publicly embarrassed me in urdu as he misbehaved with me. It’s okay if they denied me service but to degrade me in public over food is not.
I waited almost 50 mins for a chicken roll and a plate of kabab. No customer service was provided, did not even feel sorry about the poor customer service. They served everyone else except me. I used to be a regular here and We have always had issues with their serving times but this one crossed the line never coming again.
Update: I left the restaurant and returned back to get my order and the owner asked me “did you leave a review?” to which I replied yes and he started misbehaving with me, he publicly embarrassed me in front of everyone and asked me why did I not approach him before reviewing. I then clarified further that before leaving any review I spoke to his staff and the girl said that she cannot do much when the wait time was 40 mins so I requested her for the refund as that was my appointment time and she said she cannot provide me the refund either. Hence, their customer service was the worst and then the owner had the audacity to publicly shame me for expressing honest opinion regarding their restaurant. He proceeded to REFUSE THE SERVICE and offered refund. This was the worst customer service handling I have ever witnessed, to degrade a customer publicly when they have already paid for food is beyond reasonable!
I felt intimidated and sick, I felt sorry for this pathetic man claiming to be the owner of this place. I almost called the cops but I just didn’t have the energy to deal...
