I’ve been going to this shop for years, but honestly it’s gone downhill badly. Twice now when I ordered a large pide, I’ve caught them taking slices out while cutting and boxing it. The first time, the full-hair brother tried to sneak two pieces aside until he noticed I was watching and quickly put them back. The second time, the bald brother did the exact same thing, and when I questioned him, he argued it “comes as 8 or 10 pieces.” That’s simply made up — nowhere on the menu does it say that. Taking food from paying customers is unacceptable.
The service is just as bad. Phone orders 📞 are answered with a blunt “hello” and then they hang up without telling you how long it will take. Inside the shop, the “family section” is a joke — sometimes closed, sometimes magically opened for people they seem to know. On top of that, they constantly argue if you point out a mistake, and because they only write orders on scraps of paper instead of receipts, you’re left with no proof when they mess things up.
This place might have decent food, but the way it’s run is arrogant and dishonest. Missing slices, rude attitudes, and no respect for loyal customers make it clear they care more about arguing than serving properly. Customers deserve better than this. Watch closely when they slice your Turkish pide, because they will try to take...
Read moreOrdered a pizza and some hot chicken pizzas from Memos after a concert at Accor Stadium. I had ordered from MenuLog not realising they were next door to my motel. I walked in and made a joke about it saying I didn't realise how close they were and I was happy to just pick the food up... And commented that I'd just paid a delivery free and an extra $4 for the pizza all for nothing. I thought the owner would give us a free drink or some free food (garlic bread)... But all I got was an awkward chuckle in return and a 'thats too bad' response. Absolutely zero customer service. Star deducted.
The chicken pieces were amazing. Crunchy. Hot. Packed with flavour. Tasted fresh. 8/10
The pizza was their signature Memos pizza... A glorified supreme. It was decent. Alright size. Good base. Nice helping of ingredients. But nothing out of the ordinary to blow me away. A solid 6.5/10.
The atmosphere inside was a bit lacking. Just felt a bit dingy and cheap. Not a place I'd like to stay to eat. I just wanted to get out of there. Star deducted. Thankfully we got them takeaway. The restaurant also didn't offer us napkins...
Read moreMemo’s Pizza and Kebab in Greenacre has easily become one of my top spots for a tasty meal. Every time I go there, I’m impressed by the amazing flavour and quality of their food. Their pizza deals are really good value, and everything is made fresh and full of flavour.
My absolute favourite is the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza. The chicken is always tender, perfectly cooked, and loaded with that bold Peri Peri spice. Their Peri Peri sauce takes it to the next level — rich, spicy, and packed with flavour. Hands down one of the best Peri Peri pizzas I’ve had in Sydney.
The only thing I’d say is that the service could be a bit better — sometimes it feels a little slow or not very attentive. But honestly, the food makes up for it every time. If you’re in Greenacre and want a delicious pizza or kebab, I definitely recommend giving...
