We stayed at the nearby hotel, and were enjoying Red Rooster every night for it's convenience. While we weren't big junk food purchases in normal times, we were when staying here. We always enjoyed the service, and orders were not incorrect. Then one night our usual order (we'd order from $60-80 a night for the family) and had an issue where the box I got Rippa box, most things were luke warm, my chips were soggy and fell apart and rather than put the chips in the usual chip box, dumped them into the big rippa box it comes in. The amount of chips were far smaller which I believe they did it to avoid cooking fresh amount of chips, despite what management might say. I called the store and spoke to Unna the Indian guy, who kept asking me what the problem was, despite understanding me and made excuse after excuse and barely offered a resolution, to which I phoned head office and told him I was doing so. The Australian woman I spoke to was extremely apologetic and cared for how our satisfaction was, and within 24 hours received a call back from the store manager who wasn't extremely sorry or understanding, though offered through my prompting to give me the box at no cost.
Upon arriving at the store, making our usual order (and getting my free box) that I went to collect my large drink and was advised it wasn't part of it, despite being part of my box meal. She then called the manager who claimed he spoke to me about it (yeah right) so I collected by food, left without the drink I was entitled to and purchased it elsewhere.
I will NOT be going back to this store, or any Red Rooster in the future. I'd prefer KFC, or TC Brothers Pizza in bankstown as a fast food option with good service. I'd strongly advise boycotting this business, especially since other reviews align along the lines of what...

I ask the guy at the counter I wished to switch the pineapple fritter to some chicken tenders. I ordered me meal at 630 pm & as it got closer to 7pm I still haven't received my order. Mean while all the drive though & uber orders had gotten there food first. 7pm got close & I ask the guy at the counter where I my meal he said coming. I then speak to store manager (Ali) he told me I will get ready now. I asked so what did you forget my order he said sorry we have missed your order. By this stage I was very angry as I had waited 30 min. The store was now busy & I asked other customers to be aware there order may take some time. I then received my meal & left the store. I checked my order in the car & found my order was not correct I went back in to the store & spoke to manager (Ali) that the meal was wrong I ordered tender in place of the pineapple fritter. At that time I told other customers in the store to check there orders including all the delivery drivers to make sure the items are correct. The worker said that is fine and he will make note of it for the order , and everything will be good .
After waiting over an hour for the food , I opened the bag to find they didn’t do anything I specifically rang them up about .
Horrible experience , thought the other reviews were just bad experiences but now I agree with them all .
Compensation doesn’t cut it , when we waste our time waiting for our food and then they apologise and want to give you one small item in compensation . They offered to give me a free sauce in compensation for wasting my time and the order mess up was not even my fault .
