Worst customer service experience ever had in my life. Even one star is more than enough. If there was a option to edit the stars, I would have given you guys minus 5 out of 5. Every single time I visit this place with my friends, these guys always serve us expired drinks. We have complained so many times about the expired drinks to the crew and they always take drinks out of their fridge in front of us, just to show that they are throwing them away. But, it feels like, they put them back in fridge after we leave cause we always get expired drinks, every single time we visit.
On top of that, when I asked to get a refund from one of their crewmembers, who was serving at the front, she called their tall and bald chef.
He was much more worst. The first thing he came up with is, “this drink says it is best before 28/06/2018 (which was last year) but YOU ARE STILL OK, NOTHING HAPPENED TO YOU.” Great, this guy just ruined my evening by saying this. This was the rudest thing I have ever heard in my life. What does that suppose to mean, I should wait till something happen to me or SOMETHING even BAD happen!! I was so angry that each drink we buy is always expired. Therefore, I asked for refund. He was literally arguing with me by saying you have already started drinking, so I can’t give you the refund. Oh my god!! What this guy think of himself. This is not how you talk to the customers, while serving them. Then I had to ask him to refund for half of the drink cause he was talking in very rude way that “I won’t give you refund cause you already started drinking!!”
On top, I told him you guys are keep giving away the expired drinks. He clearly mentioned, “why do you buy the drinks when you already know those drinks are expired”. If I will go somewhere, I will pick the drink that I like and he is saying, why are you buying the drinks then!!
This is not the only thing; one of my friends just went to ask something and the same guy was talking in the very rude way. He has the most worst and rude tone with inappropriate attitude and behaviour, which made me very angry at the same time cause I’m the one who suggested my friends this place and that’s how your crewmembers do their service.
Well, teach them first how to serve customers.

Read moreSecurity issue. By way of intro i am a 60 yr old male was with a friend 53, we had been to an Alestorm concert at the Roundhouse after 2hrs travel 1.5 hr queue, 4 hr concert during which we’d had 3 drinks each then light rail to central it was around midnight and the last train home was in around 18 mins so we wanted 1 quick beer. We approached the door the security guard, who appeared to be of Lebanese extraction arrogantly looked up from his phone, noticed our black heavy metal t shirts and my friends tattoos & said dismissively “you’ve had enough”, before looking back at his phone. He didn’t see us walk up (not that this would have been an issue as we were sober and quiet), and did not give us an opportunity to speak. I said excuse me how do you know what we’ve had’. He again looked at our t shirts and said you’ve had enough. I felt his call was judgmental based on appearance and possibly even racial. It strikes me as poor form for an establishment to hire someone on security who is so judgmental, discriminatory and incapable of independent thought or assessment of a potential patron and even worse if he was following a blanket directive from management. His assessment of us and the risk was one of the worst I’ve encountered and his surly dismissive attitude and people skills were amongst the worst I’ve encountered anywhere. This place does not have a great deal to offer at the best of times but it is security like this that reinforces the nanny state narrative, negatively impacts the image of Sydney’s long suffering nightlife and heavily contributes to business failures. I cannot recommend this venue to night time patrons. I have no idea why they remain...
Read moreI was looking forward to a great time with friends last night at the GT's Hotel for my wife's office farewell party. There was about 15 of us all out on the deck chatting and, at our most jovial, singing and dancing to the live music. We were keeping to ourselves and being civil and respectful, and at any rate, the bar cleared out after the music finished leaving us basically the sole patrons.
So it came as great surprise around 11:00 PM when, unprovoked, a bouncer approached two of our group who had been playfully ballroom dancing and told one of them he was being cutting off from drinks. When my friends inquired (reasonably) as to why, the answer they received was having their drinks snatched from their hands, being grabbed by both arms and pushed towards the door. The bouncer then proceeded to tell all of us to stop drinking and leave immediately. We tried to reason with him, but he was utterly unwilling communicate. We asked to speak to the management but were summarily denied.
After such a shameful treatment, my friends and I were happy to take our business across the street to The Exhibition Hotel. I suggest you...
