Update 25/4/25 Kicked out again on Anzac Day for having too much fun on the pool table. No atmosphere and the security is even worse than last time, constantly snooping around to kick people out and illicit a response. We saw this on 6 occasions

Sad to see the landslide that has happed to such a renowned pub. For a place that used to be a home for a lot of us, it is now nothing but a distant memory. We have been kicked out because we were here for 10+ hours which is apparently unacceptable when we were the only patrons here. Great Pub Food but Even Better than that was the service and Friendly Nature of ALL staff we encountered on the day . I Phoned in advance to ask if they were pet friendly and what time they finished serving Lunch . We arrived right on end of Lunch service in fact they waited for us as I phoned and said we were coming. We sat outside on the veranda with our dog Bella and 1 by 1 all the dog loving staff came out to say hello to her. We felt like we had a celebrity pooch !! All staff, security and members are amazing, however the Manager is out of touch with assessing patrons with their intoxication of alcohol! Example: your drinking, gambling, eating and still coherent of your surroundings and respecting other patrons and asked to leave because I done a little celebration dance in front of the gaming machine!
