Mr Su's Kitchen at St Marys Diggers — Restaurant in Sydney

We go here often with friends and always enjoy ourselves - the staff are friendly and helpful -they're usually happy to adjust the meal if required. The food is good quality, however I'd love to see less use of thickened sauces in the stir-fry meals. Just stir-frying with the relevant spices would make the meal more flavoursome. Our favourites are the sizzling pepper steak, sizzling mongolian lamb and combination omlette.

This time I had a generous short soup entree before a beef in oyster sauce main with green tea ... they have a good wine/drinks list.

Good value for money - main meals are between $18-25, but we always end up ordering & sharing abot 5 entrees as well :)Vegetarian meals available.

We often see birthday groups celebrating here. Wheelchair and kid friendly :) Loads of parking as they are onsite at the St Mary...

I recently visited Mr. No. 1, Mr. Su's Chicken in St. Marys with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to its name.

I ordered the chicken fried rice, Mongolian lamb, and chicken in garlic sauce. The biggest letdown was the fried rice — it was overly oily, lacked flavor (not fried), and had an unpleasant texture. Honestly, it was the worst fried rice I’ve ever tasted. The chicken itself was just okay, but again, the texture felt off and didn’t sit well with me.

The Mongolian lamb and chicken in garlic sauce were passable, but nothing memorable. The dishes lacked the depth of flavor and freshness that you’d expect from a decent Chinese meal.

The staff were fine. Service was standard. Food should leave you satisfied and wanting more — this just left me wanting...

Had dinner with some friends and had some delicious Australian Chinese dishes. Entree, San choy baw, pork BBQ, Mains Pork BBQ, Sizzling Chicken mongolian, Combination chow mein and fried rice. These dishes were freshly cook and came out nice and hot. We had fried ice cream for dessert. Meals are reasonably priced and staff are really friendly. Parking is not an issue. I would have given a 5 star but the place needs a little bit of uplifting. Otherwise, it's a really nice place for dinner with family and friends. ...
