Nagomi Japanese Dining — Restaurant in Sydney

This place needs to sort out its workload and priorities.

We arrived on a sat night. Waited over 30min for our entree. We asked for the same drink 3 times before the waitress remembered. 10min after our entree we are told they cant serve one of our mains and to reorder. Other customers there that night were similarly frustrated.

It was a relatively quiet night for dine in customers but we could tell there was heavy traffic and possible prioritisation of uber eats orders.

With this level of service and treatment they should think about whether they still want a dine in business or just go full delivery.

We ended up leaving after 45min with no hope that a main would ever arrive. Seriously...

Used to be my favourite restaurant. I used to order from them every single week, sometimes multiple times a week. My #1 go to. Until I got food poisoning. I ate their chicken karaage don. Within 6 hours I was vomiting and having the worst diarrhoea ( sorry about the details ) of my life. Ended up at the Royal North Shore Emergency. This happened on 15/04/2020. Restaurant is not clean, you can smell moldy when you walked in and toilet is not very nice. Sushi rolls is terrible, not nicely wrapped, rice dropped everywhere on the plate. doesnt taste like sushi rice and need to use spoon to eat it! Very disappointed. Deep fried pork is small and meat is tough. sashimi is not fresh. We ordered large one and three varieties of fish but mostly Salmon was given.
