Nando's Narellan — Restaurant in Sydney

I visited the Nando’s store in Narellan and had a disappointing experience. I tried to order half a chicken with sides and specifically requested two legs. Instead of charging me for half a chicken, they charged me for two quarters, which cost over $22 for just two tiny leg pieces. Adding the sides, the total came to over $40. This pricing is outrageous—Nando’s is blatantly scamming customers at this point.

The quality of the food was equally poor. The chicken was small, dry, and burnt. The customer service matched the food: dry and unwelcoming. The restaurant itself was filthy, with dirty, empty tables scattered everywhere, and the kitchen didn’t look any better. To make matters worse, Nando’s head office support is just as bad, offering no resolution or accountability.

Save your money and don’t support Nando’s. There are much better chicken shops owned by local businesses that deserve your support, unlike this overpriced and poorly managed...

Extremely Disappointed with Rude Customer Service at Nando's Narellan

Today, my family and I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Nando's Narellan. We visited for lunch and were shocked by the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members.

We simply wanted to order chicken thighs with our meals, but were told by the staff that only one person in our group could have a chicken thigh, and the rest would receive breasts. This arbitrary rule was completely new to us and left us feeling frustrated and disrespected.

When I politely expressed my concerns and mentioned that I have been a loyal customer for years, the staff member showed no empathy and seemed content for us to leave and eat elsewhere.

It's disappointing to see such poor customer service at Nando's, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure a better experience for...

Dear Nandos Narellan,

You've now lost my business permanently. This is the second time I've had a really negative experience with your outlet.

The first time was when I ordered coleslaw with my meal and discovered it was off and smelled rotten to high heaven. The second time was today when my wife and I ordered the full chicken with large spicy rice, large coleslaw and 2 pita breads. We arrived home and discovered the pita breads non existent and the two sides the wrong size.

If your staff aren't following the correct procedures in ensuring what is ordered is what goes into the takeaway bag, it clearly shows your lack of interest in attracting loyal customers or commitment to service quality.

Opporto beckons and I shall now be going there in future for all my flame grilled chicken...
