We went to the dining and co for breakfast at 10:50am today. We ordered our food at 11:02am. The order had brekky burger and cajun chicken burger, muffin and 3 Latte. 2x regular Latte and third one with almond milk with extra shot. The food came to us at 11:40am, understandable as they were quite busy. We waited for the coffees and nothing was given to us. I told the waitress that we are waiting for the muffin and three coffees and she said it won't be long. My muffin came but no coffee. 10 minutes later I went on the counter and asked again about the coffees and they said they will bring it out. We waited again. We noticed that all the customers that came way later they got their coffees and food and we were still waiting. I went on the counter to remind them that we are still waiting for our coffee. The counter attendant told me that the orders got mixed-up and they cannot find the order. So I repeated the order of my 3 coffees. We waited again. This time after another 10 minutes of wait my daughter went on the counter to remind them. In next 2 minutes they brought out 2 coffees. I reminded the waitress that there is one more coffee. She said she will check the order. She came out with a receipt that was sitting on the top. I told her that we ordered our food more than a hour ago and we ordered and paid for 3 coffees. Please either refund my money or get me my coffee. Next thing I got my coffee. We left from cafe at 12:30pm. We had such a bad experience with this cafe. The system is not working for this cafe when it's busy. They need to come with better way of handling their busy time. We all go to relax at the cafe and not to get given stress and that is what they did to us.. I will never recommend this cafe to any one. What is with the food getting served on chopping board that have other customers knife dents in it. How is...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting a local café in North Ryde. It's worth noting that this café tends to get quite busy, even on weekdays during lunchtime, so I would highly recommend making a booking in advance to secure a table. And once the café is filled with people it can get very noisy.
The coffee they served was rather delightful, offering a nice and smooth flavor that satisfied my caffeine cravings. We tried their Eggs Benedict, and they were cooked to a level of perfection that pleasantly surprised me. The presentation of the dish was quite lovely as well. Another highlight was the slow-cooked 63-degree egg on the Shakshuka, which was perfectly cooked. What amazed me even more was the fact that their Shakshuka with chorizo had a pleasantly mild flavor, departing from the usual spiciness I've...
Read moreMy husband suggested this cafe after looking up cafes online. This one is quite close and has amazing reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Boy I'm glad we did, it does not disappoint! We went with our newborn, so had to wait for one of the outdoor seatings for convenience. We waited around 10-15 min before getting a table.
This cafe has a nice ambience, good vibe and really polite and friendly waitresses. Hubs and I came when lunch items are available, so that's what we went for even though breakfast items look so tempting! He went for the pulled pork burger and I tried the squid ink spaghetti.
The burger was delicious, and spaghetti was something different I haven't had before. It was fresh and has a zesty taste. Coffees are delicious ( as always with Campos!) and 10/10 would go back...
