Nooks Place Randwick — Restaurant in Sydney

So poor!!! Ordered takeaway on a Sunday morning, and received a leaking ice coffee and a latte with zero froth ( unfortunately only discovered 5 minutes later after getting home) and a croissant that was toasted, although, not even warm as it was already sitting on the benchtop. A single barista looking stressed and flusted on a busy Sunday morning trying to do coffees, calling out takeaway orders simultaneously with people waiting to order, points to the place being short staffed and/ or lacking a system that effectively addresses peak hours. Not surprised I had to ask " where's my croissant?" as she had no idea and started looking in bags to find it. From someone who until recently ran and operated very busy cbd cafes for 25 years , you can and should be doing...

They made wrong coffee, ordered oatmilk flat white, as I'm extremely sensitive with lactose, but he made it with milk, went there and the staff who made the coffee argued and then admitted he didn't hear it right then advise I have to pay again. And there's an Asian lady, another staff, next to him said they should open the camera to find out. Wow! Tryin to make me feel bad or trying to prove them right? This is a very poor customer service. I have never experienced such a bad customer service like this from any cafe. Of course at the end, I didn't have to pay, it's principle! You made it wrong, then you need it to fix it. I don't recommend people to come here. Poor service, poor...

I'm sure the food is great, but we only ordered four takeaway long blacks, 2 of them half full. Three of them leaked, probably the worst quality cups I've had the misfortune of being served coffee in. Two items of clothing and a beige bag now covered in coffee drips... Be warned.

Edit: Reply to owner. My guess is unbranded cheap imported cups? Considering 3 cups leaked... Also, why don't you double cup long blacks? I work in the cafe industry, specifically in packaging sales, and realise there can be issues with long blacks in paper cups. But blaming the manufacturer and stating it's never happened before...
