Firstly, the young female waitress working on Monday afternoon with the blue eyes has the rudest demeanour I’ve seen in a while, especially in customer service! rolling her eyes and having an attitude about any question that was asked. She did not smile once or speak in a nice tone - it was a bunch of rolling eyes and pointing to things (such as the card machine to pay) disgusting service and, frankly, the main reason I will not return again. Please train your front of house staff to be polite and not turn people off their food.

Secondly, the prices written on the board are misleading - they charged us way more for eating in, but nowhere did it stipulate there were different prices for eating in vs takeaway. I would’ve gotten my food takeaway for that much of a difference in price!

The food itself was very nice, minus the fact I had a bone piece come out of my chicken pie & the fish basically was missing from the burger (so thin & hardly any fish)

I wish I could have given it 5 stars, because the taste was definitely there - but the way we felt like a nuisance for being there is undeserving of even the 2...

Wow this little neighbourhood cafe never disappoints. Parking is usually easy and grabbing a set outside lets you watch the locals passing by from the local Centennial Park. The staff are laid back but attentive, happy for you to enjoy your meal and not pushing you out of your seat collecting your plate before the last mouthful of food has barely made its way to your mouth !! I always have the sautéed mushrooms in toast with thyme butter and ricotta. The husband has the pumpkin and quinoa salad with chicken. The coffee is great and I HIGHLY recommend grabbing a takeaway freshly baked muffin while you’re paying for...
