Oporto Ashfield Drive Thru — Restaurant in Sydney

Absolutely disgusted oportos ashfield/croyden For one, half the order was missing we were missing our large chips, our chicken bites and sauces! Secondly I open up my wrap like I always do to double check it (thankfully I did) I found a big dirty hair in the wrap!!! Now after these gruesome discoveries from my meal!! I decided to call it took me 5 calls over 5 mintues to finally get thru to where I was met by amusement from the situation!!! As I was clearly frustrated the person on the other end of the line took it upon himself to find the funny side of the problem and started laughing at me on the other end of the phone call and saying sorry mate we are busy surly you can’t be so busy that you can’t answer a phone call for 5 minutes, get almost the whole order wrong and have a hair in the wrap (photo below) and find the whole situation a big joke!!! I am bamboozled in the fact I keep returning to this absolute nightmare of store they are constantly getting it wrong constantly rude and under performing but enough is enough because this is the last straw I will never be returning to this store again and I urge others to double check there order because It wouldn’t be the first time this is happened and they have gotten away with it. Honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had in any capacity but particularly bad in the case of eating charcoal chicken. Whoever took my order was completely apathetic despite myself and my car passenger having a very cheery demeanour. She brushed us to the next window without us finishing our order and then we had to wait almost 10 minutes before being served. None of the order which was previously discussed at the intercom had been taken note of and we had to COMPLETELY re-do our order. Then after finally receiving the food ( I will say it did smell quite nice in the car) I was presented with this. Are you serious? Would you eat this? everything was clearly just thrown CARELESSLY into this poorly constructed cardboard box. It wasn't even busy there were no other people ordering food. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion. Have some pride in your work. I usually love Oporto and their chicken. Safe to say I will NEVER be buying another Half Chicken with 2 Sides and Pita Bread ever again.

The food was paid for at 7:21pm on 14/04/20. I hope there are consequences for the people working as this shows such little respect for the companies standard of service and for their customers.

Y'know what, it honestly wasn't too bad. I enjoyed a serving of the crispy chicken bites, the spicy bolas and a small chips. Was a nice treat to finish off a long day of renovations, and everything was cooked pretty well.

The crispy pieces, were as it says on the tin, crispy and had a great bite. The portions and pieces may have been a bit small for the price. They were fully cooked through, and while they lacked a hint of a bit more flavor and spice, they were still great to pair with some chips on a weekend evening quick stop dinner.

The spicy chicken bolas were ok, maybe a little over done, but nice and crunchy, perhaps a little bit bland, but a well cooked Popcorn Chicken would still be at these out.

The chips were crisp, fresh, and well seasoned. I don't think they could get cooked much better than that.

Decor felt a bit cramped, but y'know, it is a gas station Oporto's, so not bad for roadside assist. Tables were clean enough except for the guy asleep in the booth in the corner. They could stand to wipe down and disinfect the tables a little more, as they weren't very busy.
