I work at Castle towers Oportos so I know a thing or two about what it is like to run/work a Oportos. Let me explain my whole experience with this Oportos, First we drove into the drive-thru and waited three to four minutes to then order our food not the worst because there was three or four cars ahead of us and a borders typically takes longer to make than other places. With in all of the food which was a oprego value box which comes with a burger a piece of chicken and small chips. We also ordered another Bondi Burger and crispy strips and a wrap. We did various modifications of each item including choosing the source and the type of chicken for the box adding avocado and halloumi to the sum of the burgers changed the size of some of the burgers and when he read back our order he didn't read out the whole thing for starters and he skipped some of the important information and most of the order was incorrect. We tried to get him to fix it and we then paid for the food and was never given a receipt and after we got our food it was wrong and had missing items including a piece of chicken so when we went inside to go get one they didn't ask what order it was for or what have you and just gave us a piece of chicken with the wrong sauce that I had asked for and no extra chips. But they didn't have the excuse that it was busy because they had three people which one of them had to be a manager and they messed it up. I would definitely not advise going to this Oportos. Read morei have just ordered from you guys through the drive thru on the 2nd of march at around 12am i am appalled with ur service at the drive thru window and where to pay/receive food first of all i ask you for the crispy chicken tenders in a meal with avocado on the side you said yes sure anything else you then told me at the window after i received my food and checked the bag before driving off that it’s a $4 charge for the avocado which you didn’t say anything when i was ordering? you just let it be thinking i wouldn’t check the bag! this isn’t right! i than asked for chilli cheese chips and for my chips to BE FRESH AND HOT mind you i asked you twice! with extra salt which wasn’t the case instead they were hard cold and re heated barely any sauce. I then asked you for a chilli tub sauce you said yes i’ll put it in the bag i then got home and received a prego sauce which i did not order nor want!! i than preceded to call which was than transferred to a automated message saying the voicemail services is full please try again later EVERY SINGLE one of you guys at this oportos should be fired they do not listen nor give the write orders! this isn’t the first time i am very disappointed at all of you you should be ashamed...
Read moreI remember the good old days when this was voted one of the ‘best’ Oporto franchises in Sydney. Now I avoid at all costs and try to purchase from other franchises when possible. I used to work at Oporto so I’m aware of the procedures. Tonight I attended the drive through and asked for FRESH chips with extra chicken salt. When I pulled up to the window I was given almost cold chips ( I know the difference between fresh chips and chips that were sitting under the warmer). Also I was given a mayo sauce when I ordered a lemon and herb, this was an oversight that is due to quick and unfocused employees. Also I requested chilli in my wrap which not surprisingly diddnt have chilli in it. The person taking my order was more focused on asking ‘ is that all?’ When taking my order. I know it’s a quick paced environment, but that still means paying attention. Aim shouldn’t be just to get orders out but to get quality orders out. Please...
