Philliez Edmonson park — Restaurant in Sydney

I went in one night and ordered to dine in. Upon entering, I was not greeted by a loud young girl behind the counter who was singing/rapping profanity at the top of her voice.

After what has to be, the most unenthusiastic, lazy and bored attitude I’ve experienced in my dining adventures, I placed an order for dine in and proceeded to take a seat with my dinner companions.

If you’re planning a meal with some friends be prepared to shout to each other, as the same young girl behind the counter was extremely loud from the kitchen. It was almost as if you had wandered into her lounge room at her house, no respect or understanding of her work environment.

The food was packed in a bag and brought over to our table by the cook. Yes, packed in a bag For our dine in order. Apparently the young woman at the counter hadn’t informed the cooks we were staying.

Which is preferable, because sitting at their sticky tables listening to the young girl from the counter talk about her night and favourite songs was not something we enjoyed.

We took our order and left.

Got home and unpacked things, hoping that perhaps the food would save the whole experience. It did not.

The food was extremely greasy and had soiled through its packaging, the taste was bland at best. The fries were only okay, some seasoning would have been nice, the cheesesteak had an interesting taste, so neutral…. the burger horrible, the hot dog horrible and the cheese sauce tasted like melted cheesy plastic.

All in all I’ve left a 2 star review, simply because it’s a nice looking place from the outside, priced lower than competitors and our food was ready quickly.

This will be the last time eating at philliez Edmondson park. Got there with 8 people 1 table was occupied and all other tables were empty with food and rubbish still there rubbish under the tables also, asked the lady to clean a table for us which she did. When we were ready to order stook at front counter for ten minutes as every one walked past without taking our order they could clearly see me standing waiting but just wouldn't make eye contact finally when someone comes to front counter she just stands there with a blank look like I was bothering her. Takes our order then asked are you eating in which clearly we were. Waited 30 min then when I asked how long the food was going to be she couldn't find order had to go inside and ask someone, comes out and says your foods here, been sitting in bag for ten minutes so she hands me bag and saying do want to eat on plates??? No sorry we waited another 10 minutes for the rest of the food. Most of the food was coldish warm, Horrible experience will not return I have been going to philliez for a while and service and cleanliness is gone donw hill big time Frgde wasn't stocked Another family had same experience while we were there and got a refund and left Only giving 2 star as some of food was ok and previous experience with food has been good

Update Been here few times lately and it has definitely improved service was good and food didn't take to...

Where do I start, the lady on customer service is shocking, no people skills what so ever. Was asked to sign in to the Covid app, no reception in the place told the bad customer service lady who said go walk around until you get reception, had to go outside as she refused to help out and give the wifi to sign in,

We ordered, sat on a table air condition was not the best at all, so went to sit outside and asked for the table to be cleaned that was an issue apparently, came back in to a table that freed up, was approached by a nice gentleman who said we couldn't sit there as we moved from two tables, had to explain to the bad customer service lady that the reason for the move was the bad air conditioning, she said if we sit at the new table she has to clean it from the previous customer.... isn't it standard to clean up after customers!

Asked to have the order cancelled as we refused to go back to the tables where there was no air conditioning, they let us stay on that table but would not clean it up from previous customer, very unprofessional, very bad experience, bad service except for the gentleman who approached us politely, yes food is tasty but customer service left a bad taste...
