Ambience and cutlery 5 star. Food was delivered promptly. Fried rice and noodles tasted good (second best after Sambandha Hurstville) but serving quantity was like kids meal to me but in saying that serving size/weight was not mentioned in the menu - so it is my openion. I think 3-4 spoon of extra rice and noodles would have been perfect. This is for all my Punjabi bros/sis, Dal tadka had mustard seed and curry leaves in tempering though the menu description stated traditional north indian tadka! BTW to the mgmt - please fit a door closer to the door leading to the toilet. Liked the tandoor items. Steamed rice was also nice with a bit of corriender leaves and jeera tempering. Dosa served to other table looked great. It is a one stop destination covering Indian, Indian Chinese and Nepalese food. It will be a frequent dining place for my family to explore more. My review is not a whinge but an honest and constructive feedback from a foodie. Also soft Indian instrumental music might make the ambience...
Read moreAnother good restaurant let down by service. The restaurant is located at the back side of a petrol station which makes it a bit harder to find. The decor of the restaurant is nice. Classic look with some sub continental vibes. The menu is good and the food we tried was good. The flavours were amazing but the portion size is a bit on the smaller side. This restaurant is also plagued with service issues as other Indian restaurants in Sydney. 3 staff on floor for a full restaurant and also take away orders. Everything from food order taking to checking on tables is painfully slow. Our food all arrived at different times making it annoying. We had to wait for all our food to arrive. Drinks came only after asking 3 times. Ordering dessert took us another 15mins. The restaurant was full and if only the service was better it would have been...
Read moreWe dined here with our little family. We arrived to a very friendly and warm greeting. They treated us like family. Very special and memorable experience. We were guided through menu and given some advice on dishes to suit our tastes. The food was delicious and plentiful and so many options. They were especially happy to accommodate the kids also. The butter chicken and mango lassi a favourite with the kids. Nuggets and chips were also offered. The cauliflower dish was amazing and devoured, (Gobi manchrurian). We had a variety of starters, too many, all delicious. The butter chicken was delicious, a good level of spice and flavours, we also really enjoyed the lamb. We certainly left with full bellies and will return soon...
