We are a couple who really enjoy pho. We stopped by this place by chance and ordered pho, spring rolls, and two lemon sodas. Each table had a tea kettle with paper cups so customers could serve themselves tea. However, when I picked up the kettle, I lost my appetite immediately after seeing the dirty spout and the thick dust covering the kettle itself. The food came out quickly, but the chili served with it was in terrible condition (even in the photo, the chilies shown had already been picked out from worse ones). When we asked for fresh chili, the owner said it was too expensive to provide since chili now costs more than $15 per kilo. Soon after, our pho was served, but there was no coriander. When we requested some, we were told there was none available. Later, after some time had passed, someone dropped off scraps of chili stems at the edge of our table, which only made the experience worse. Frankly, it doesn’t make sense for a pho restaurant to withhold essential ingredients because of cost. That’s like a barbecue restaurant refusing to provide salt. We also ordered two lemon sodas, which were forgotten until we asked again. They only arrived about 15 minutes after our food was served. It turned out to be a homemade-style lemonade, but it had hardly any ice, so it was lukewarm and unpleasant. After taking just one sip of the lemon soda, we were so disappointed and uncomfortable that we left all the food untouched and walked out. The hygiene here is also very concerning. For someone with a weaker immune system, eating here could honestly be unsafe. The condition of the tea kettle was not what you’d expect after missing one or two days of cleaning — it looked as if it hadn’t been washed at all. As for service, there was no friendliness at all — only unpleasantness. If it were possible, I would give this place 0 stars. Even though we barely ate anything, we suffered from nausea and discomfort for the rest of the day.

We have been loyal customers for over 40 years, and despite the changes in ownership, the food has consistently remained top-notch and authentically Vietnamese. There are few places that offer such genuine Vietnamese cuisine, complete with all the right herbs and flavours. Some of the dishes here are truly unique and hard to find elsewhere. The restaurant is always bustling, reflecting its popularity, and it’s clear that it's a family-run business. The staff and owner are friendly and more than willing to help. During a challenging period when my mother was hospitalised in Westmead for nearly 5 months after a near-fatal fall in Guildford in February 2022, I would call ahead each morning. The staff would ensure that her lunch was ready for me to pick up by 11:30 AM. Thanks to their support, my mother was able to regain the 25 kg she had lost, a fall that nearly cost mum’s life. Their attentiveness and care, along with their familiarity with our family, meant so much to us. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Overall rating of 70/100 I wish I could give this place a higher rating. The food quality is actually quite awesome and they do a really good pho. However, the service is atrocious. The lad who works front counter on weeknights needs a full attitude adjustment and customer service training. Really curt with all customers and quite rude really. Additionally this poor attitude also unfortunately extends to a couple of the other staff who are customer facing. I am loathed to give further future business to these guys even though I actually really like their pho. Restaurant space and setting is nice for dine in as there is loads of space.

Went here with my partner and parents for dinner. The crispy chicken was well made and tender and crispy. We also ordered beef pho, dried beef noodles and a pork vermicelli dish, which tasted average.

We ordered some food for dine in and some food to takeaway. My mother placed the order with the waitress, but there was a bit of confusion with the order, so she came back to clarify. My mum repeated the order again, but the waitress still seemed a bit confused so my mum asked her for the notepad so she could write down the dishes we wanted to have at the restaurant, and the ones we wanted to takeaway to try and make it easier for her. Despite the confusion, I didn't think it was a big deal and the waitress was happy for my mum to do that. The frustrating part was when this younger male staff member (wearing a nike jumper) came over, looked at my partner and I and asked us in an accusatory tone why we didn't place the order when we can speak english. He said it would have been easier for the waitress if we had ordered instead. He did this in a really rude way, which just made us all uncomfortable, and it was difficult to enjoy the meal after that. He also made the assumption that the confusion around the order was due to my Chinese parents not being able to speak English well, even though my parents speak English pretty fluently. The service from the waitress was fine as she was friendly when we...

Typical Vietnamese joint with a range of selections to choose from at a medium pricing that try to make quick bucks.

The food is quite standard, offering nothing else apart from filling your stomach. The waitress that attended to us appeared welcoming, but did not bother to jot down our orders on a notepad. As a result, we waited half an hour for an hour which was not entered into their system because she forgot to put it in. Once alerting the owner that this had happened, he immediately called the chef to speedily make one. However what came out was not up to taste and was definitely not worth our time.

In addition, as we were debating whether or not to order some more, the owner immediately jumped up and insisted on taking our order. However he did so in a uncaring manner and didn't even offer us the menu again, letting us fumble around our memory on what dishes they had.

As well as this, thirty minutes before the listed closing time, the owner called to kick everyone out before we had even finished eating our meals so he could count the money and close early. However, this made no sense as there is no reason to kick your current customers out as they wouldn't affect you counting the money anyway.

Overall terrible customer service and extremely unaccommodating. The place does not care about treating their customers properly and only sees them as a...
