This my favourite place for bon bo hue!! / Delicious, satisfying and well-cooked food with good and quick service. We have been coming here for many years now but it has recently(?) changed locations. Although it is still around the same shopping sort of strip. The bon bo hue soup had the depth that many places lacked, all the cuts of pork and beef and the chilli satay was so tasty. Soup was SO tasty. A very satisfying portion as well. The crispy chicken with tomato rice was massive as well! Chicken skin was crispy, tomato rice was aromatic and tasty, the chicken itself was very juicy and well-cooked. Came with the usual pickled veggies and nuoc nam. They gave a huge amount of rice too. Food came out so quickly as well, a little more than 5 minutes. Food was still fresh.

This super popular Vietnamese restaurant conveniently located across from Flemington Station is always busy but delivers consistently quick and satisfying meals. This time, the golden spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce hit the spot. The creamy chicken and sweet corn soup was soothing. The stir fry beef with rice needles was deliciously stripped back with few, basic ingredients. Their other rice and noodle dishes are usually good. Customer service is no-nonsense and efficient. Dining in is noisy and crowded with regulars most days of the week. Delivery is fairly swift. Pricing is economical. Saigon B&B is a dependable eat.

*** Update a year later *** The place starting to look a little run down. Bowls have changed for Pho, seem a tad larger. I was actually hoping the place remains with the good impression we had previously. But unfortunately this was not the case. We ordered a few dishes, the condiments served up and waiting for the meals. Saw a hair sticking up on the outside of the bowls of sauces. Then the meals came out etc. Midway eating some and my daughter was attempting to break up the noodles between part in mouth and part still in bowl and realised something stringy. Noticed another dye coloured hair which was quite long, partially down her throat and pulling it out of her mouth and in the bowl. We didn't complain or make a fuss about it, paid and leave and will be our last return. It's unfortunate. Hopefully no one else had the same experiences. It's ashame this happened.

The worst Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever had. We ordered Viet style prawn with rice and spring roll salad noodles. The spring roll noodles are dry without enough sauce but still okay. However, the Viet prawn was the worst, with only around 10 tiny prawns and literally nothing more! No veggie, no sides, nothing! Just simple 10 tiny prawns with sauce in a pot smaller than my mobile phone with plain white rice! The herbal jelly drink was the worst Vietnamese drink that I had too. With the plastic cup leaking first and then the replaced one was tasteless with too much ice and little herbal jelly. This was the first and will be the last time that I visit. Literally the worst Vietnamese restaurant in Sydney!

Very tasty Pho here! this place is always busy. Friendly and attentive staff. Affordable and huge portioned meals - mostly around $13-17/meal. They have an extensive menu there but I would advise to choose Pho noodles or the chef's specials as those are guaranteed fresh. Easy parking all along the road. Very conveniently located outside the train station. The toilet is the usual back dark alley and looking quite dodge. But appearances aside, one of the best Vietnamese family restaurant in the area. We'll be back again soon!

I used to eat here back when it was at their original location ages ago. Recently, I was in the area and decided to try it again. I wasn't disappointed at all. I usually visit the area on weekends when it's usually packed, but weekdays are quite relaxed. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the food is just as good as before. I’ve missed this place and will definitely visit more often now. There's plenty of parking available.
