If you're looking for a vibrant and bustling market experience, then the Sydney Markets is the perfect destination. This place is a true paradise for foodies and shoppers alike, with a wide variety of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and handmade crafts available for purchase.

The market's atmosphere is lively and energetic, with vendors calling out to passersby, and the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air. The market offers a great selection of fruit and vegetables, including many exotic varieties that you may not find in your local supermarket. Whether you're looking for fresh herbs, spices, nuts, or seeds, the Sydney Markets has got you covered.

Aside from produce, the Sydney Markets is also home to a variety of stalls selling artisanal goods, from locally crafted pottery to handmade jewellery. If you're looking for unique gifts or souvenirs, this is the perfect place to shop.

The market is also known for its bargain prices, making it a great place to shop for those on a budget. You can often find fresh produce at prices that are significantly cheaper than those in supermarkets, as well as handmade crafts and artisanal goods that won't break the bank.

Overall, the Sydney Markets is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for a unique and exciting shopping experience. The energy and excitement of the market is infectious, and you'll find yourself getting swept up in the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The market's diverse range of produce, food, and crafts means that there's something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned market-goer or a first-time visitor.

However, it's worth noting that the Sydney Markets can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so be prepared to navigate through crowds of people. It's also a good idea to bring cash, as some vendors may not accept card payments.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a fun and exciting way to spend a day, head to the Sydney Markets. You'll find delicious food, unique crafts, and a lively atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else. With its great prices and variety of goods, the Sydney Markets is a must-visit destination for anyone...

{ Flower Markets } My family and I had a budget for a wake and funeral and needed to organise flowers for the event at short notice. We spent $200 on flowers and supplies to produce two pedestal bouquets, a large casket bouquet and 2 decorative displays for the food table. We would have had to spend 4 times this amount if we were to go to a conventional florist.

The catch for going wholesale is that you need to be there as early as 5am to get the best stock & cuts, by 7am some of the best picks were gone. By driving in you pay $10 entry at the gate, and drive up a ramp to access public parking for the florist. When entering the wholesale floor you need to wear a high visibility vest, we weren't aware of this before hand and so the 4 of us had to pay $10 each for a vest at the door. For safety reasons, I get the reason behind this but you could always do a sneaky, and swap out a vest with someone to take turns looking through the floor or if you're especially sneaky you can go inside unnoticed. I did notice there were people roaming without a vest.

Best tips is, bring an empty bucket to fill with water and put flowers in as you collect and buy. This keeps the flower hydrated and avoid early wilting. Plan ahead and decide what you want to buy, and walking around and see options before buying so you get the best value...

Sydney Markets at Flemington is a fantastic destination for everyday shoppers looking for fresh produce, flowers, clothing and all sorts of household goods. There is a huge variety of stalls and a lively atmosphere which makes it a great place to wander and stock up on bargains. One of the highlights is the Paddys Night Food Markets held on the first Saturday of every month from 6pm to 10pm. It is a fun night out with dozens of food trucks serving cuisines from around the world live entertainment and even a car show. That said the food trucks are pricey for a market setting. Expect to pay around 25 dollars for a pizza 20 dollars for a burger or steak sandwich and 15 to 20 dollars for most desserts. While the food quality is good it is a little disappointing to see restaurant prices at what people often think of as a more casual street food event. Overall though Sydney Markets remains one of the best spots in Sydney for fresh produce and a good night out at the food markets just be ready for the premium prices at the trucks.
