Our Favorite Go-To Dinner Spot: Pho Hien ❤️🍜
Pho Hien has become our place. My husband and I always find ourselves coming back here whenever we’re craving something comforting, delicious, and satisfying—and honestly, we can’t imagine a better spot for dinner.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of warm, friendly service that makes you feel instantly welcome. The staff is consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They remember us, they know our favorites, and they always go above and beyond to make sure we’re taken care of. It’s rare to find a place that feels so personal and familiar, but Pho Hien delivers that feeling every time.
Now let’s talk about the food—because it’s the real reason we keep coming back. Everything we’ve tried here has been absolutely brilliant, but the standout for us, without question, is the chicken fried rice. It’s our go-to dish, and we seriously crave it. The flavor is spot-on every time—savory, rich, and just the right balance of textures. The chicken is perfectly cooked, the rice is flavorful but never greasy, and the seasoning is perfection. It’s simple, but it’s done so well, and it never disappoints.
Even when we venture out and try other items on the menu—like their pho, egg rolls, or vermicelli bowls—we’re always impressed by the quality and freshness. Everything tastes like it’s made with care and attention to detail.
Pho Hien isn’t just a restaurant for us. It’s a comfort zone. A dependable, cozy spot where we can relax, enjoy amazing food, and feel like part of the family. Whether it’s a casual weeknight dinner or a quick stop when we’re both too tired to cook, Pho Hien has never let us down.
We feel lucky to have a place like this in our lives, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it more. If you haven’t been—go. And definitely try the chicken fried rice. You’ll thank us later.

Read moreI was a regular customer at Pho-hien. And I have loved going there. However, I feel like the quality of food has declined over the period of time. On my last visit, I ordered Hainan chicken, and I will not recommend it at all. It was bland and had no taste and so was the rice it came with. On the other hand, my Mrs. ordered Pho, which was great as usual but it costed 18 bucks. Not sure if I will recommend pho for 18 bucks. And at one time, when I ordered flounder, there was an insect in it, deep fried with it. Manager just offered to waive 10 bucks off the total bill. I think, I needed more than just 10 bucks off. If the prices goes back to normal, I think it's a good place for feed. But if the prices stays the same with the inflation, I would advise to go on an adventure and look for something else. PS: the wait staff has always been...
Read moreThe phở is good. Not the best or most flavoursome you can get in the area, but decent. Serving size is on the smaller side and the đặc biệt (special) isn't generous enough, in my opinion. Accompanying herbs is basic.
That said, it is tasty enough for me to return to the restaurant. There is plenty of seating available and you won't be struggling to find a seat for larger groups. There are other food options available but I haven't tried anything else on their menu because if the place has 'Phở' in its name, that's what I'm ordering.
A standout, for me, is the satay sauce condiment. It's delicious! Have it as a dipping sauce for the meat in your phở, with some Hoisin and chilli sauce or directly into the broth, if...
