Damn! There’s no option to give zero or negative stars! I would have surely added few negative stars to it. Worst customer service received twice! (Guy named OM, says he is owner of the place, but doesn’t acts like he really wants to keep the business growing or even in the game), aggressive and uncontrollable behaviour. Agreeing that you own the place, but Sir you don’t own a customer to yell. And here how and what happened.
Situation: ordered 3 large pizzas pickup. Took home, had one, had 1/4 of second, found second pizza taste weirdly burnt, and also the third looks exactly same to second pizza. Called store! and said 2 pizzas are burnt, I have already had one pizza, which was fine but other 2 are really awful to eat “what should I do?” Pizza Hut Stanmore (OM): Come to the store, and show me the pizzas! Me: Okay (in my mind, why do I really need to be at your store, I actually have already wasted my time to choose the pick option and now I have to go back to show and be in the discussion of the pizza is burnt or not), still took out time at 9:30 pm to go back, and just find out a conclusion, which I was very sure is not a aggressive situation.
Reached to the store at 10:15 pm.
OM at counter, receives me with no welcome or even a hi, just said! Wait! I obviously was to wait until you serve your another customer at counter, you don’t need to rude here. But even by then I didn’t had any idea of him trying to get in a aggressive bad conversation to me.
OM: yeah! Go on! Now! Me: these pizzas doesn’t taste really good. Seems like over cooked at corners, or may be burnt! I’m a kind of regular customer to you, so I know how your pizzas are, this one really taste weird. What should I do? OM: oh! Does this look burnt to you! Me: yeah OM: haha! It’s not burnt , it’s the best cook pizza in the house. Call any chef in this world, and ask about this pizza. And, one of the pizza has 2 slices missing so I would not be able to entertain any replacements on that pizza, and for the second pizza I can give you replacement, but it will be the same. Me: But my point is it doesn’t taste good either, and has got burnt edges and base. How am I suppose to eat it. And for the pizza missing 2 slice, I and my friend did not put the bitten slices back to the box. That’s why this is 3/4 of the pizza. (In my mind I was like, who asks for the eaten thing to a customer, the customer is complaining about you foods quality, and you are trying to bring the missing quantity in the discussion, makes no sense to me) OM: You have done this several times to us. So I would not be able to give you replacement to the 3/4 pizza. I can do for the full one. (Already in his aggressiveness), also, I’m the owner here, I’m not afraid of anyone coming with a bad feedback here! Call whomsoever you want. Me: In my head I was already shocked by the behaviour of the guy. He was not the person whom I picked the pizzas from. And now he comes and starts yelling at me after calling me to show the pizza at his store. I don’t know you are owner of the store or not, but I’m so damn sure, you have got no manner to treat a customer. Rather than attending me gracefully you are starting to blame me with lies which has had never happened. I have order pizzas from you guys so so so many times, and I have never complained for anything , I’m a regular customer, for the sake of it, have some curtesy, or have some generic respect for your customer. And all of this, this man was doing at 10:45 pm, for a order worth $24. And he says he is the owner of the place. Doesn’t shows in his behaviour at all. He still continued to raise his voice louder and aggressive nature to me, for next 15 minutes. And I was not having enough energy to waste on this man at my Saturday night (Ruined) OM steals the show here by continuously yelling lies for next 10 minutes in his own zone, with the ego of owning the store. I was left with no other option to leave the store, dropping the pizzas back, and asking him to do whatever he thinks is possibly a human thing he could do for...
Read moreMy sister and I ordered 2 pizzas - a Meatlovers thin and crispy for me and a Perfecto Vegetarian for her as well as the obligatory garlic bread and coke for pickup (she lives just around the corner) at 7:22pm. Once she placed the order & I got up and left As I was putting on my shoes she looked at me and she seemed confused.
"It says it will be ready in 15 minutes and its a 2 minute walk." she said.
I just laughed and left. I like my pizza HOT.
Stepping in to Pizza Hut I was suddenly transformed to what I imagine is a studio apartment in Tokyo. A very minimalist vibe with just a single desk for a lone Japanese man to eat his meal while staring out at the cavalcade of cars on Parramatta dotted with dilapidated and abandoned shops.
"4 minutes away" she stated.
While waiting, I decided to grab some ranch sauce for dripping. I got up and asked but the woman had no idea what I was saying.
"Could I also get 2 ranch sauces please?"
"Ranch sauce"
"Rrrrraaaaannnnnccccchhh"
Sometimes she just said some word back slowly and confused, sometimes while pointing towards the till. I pointed up at the picture of the pizza with a white dipping sauce.
'Whats the white thing?" I asked
"Garlic sauce!" she exlaimed

"Never mind then.."
"Do you want ranch?" she eagerly enquired mid sentence. I nodded excitedly. I asked the price and she replied "I'll grab it from the back." I was not willing to recreate the previous experience so I let it go.
Once it was done I paid $1.90 (So they are $0.95c each) and left. I was so hungry because all I had eaten all day was 2 slices of plain white toast as I am running out the door. Pizza was delicious however my sister asked for half cheese on hers. I told her to tell them to put her missing half onto mine. Alas it was mine that had got the maddening mid cheese treatment. Garlic bread was white on the sides and burnt on the top. My sister said that's how she likes it so I said no more.
However, at 4am I was awoken. Something sturs inside me. Deep, deep inside me. Through some kind of magic, maybe through a curse (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was on the front of the box) my pizza & garlic bread was somehow converted into a more liquid form.
So, here I am, at around 5 am waiting to make sure the curse has been lifted by imbibing holy water and decided to write this delightful review.
Now, I am not saying I know what happened for sure. I will say this: There was maybe 2 or 3 other tickets up on the waiting to be made, getting made or have been made and are ready for pickup at 7:30pm. Still, this surprised me as I didn't think that any pizza hut / dominos "meat" was capable of sustaining life. It forces me to remember that where there is a will, there's a way & in the future I know I will eat another one on my way back...

Placed an online order for pick up in 10min and when I arrive 20min later I’m told by a staff member (who appeared to be the manager on duty) that they have no order and I have probably selected the wrong store. As I had not even received a receipt I produced my phone banking statement which clearly showed payment made to the Stanmore store. At this point they walked off to make a phone call and came back advising that there has been a error for the last 24hr where orders payed for by credit card are not coming through to the store. Now that we knew what the issue was I said I don’t mind waiting 10min for the order and I was told that I would have to pay a second time and then he would give me a number to contact to arrange a refund for the initial payment. As this is absolutely absurd I refused to pay a second time and as the clerk refused to offer a reasonable solution I left to go down the road to McDonalds instead and worry about the refund later. About a minute after leaving an email comes through advising that my order had been processed and will be ready for collection in 15min. I went back to the store to check if the order had come through finally, which it had. While waiting the clerk comes out with a big smile on his face to show me a correspondence stating their system is experiencing delays in processing online orders. While this joker thought he was hitting it out of the park customer service wise I couldn’t believe that he has come out to show a customer an internal memo to validate his problem as opposed to offering a solution. As someone who manages customer service teams I would have this employee on performance management for such behaviours.
