This park is a great example of how city planners are thinking of the mental health of the inhabitants of the surrounding neighbourhood. As well as a comprehensive variety of sporting facilities such as tennis courts, cricket/football field and walking paths dotted with stretching and strength building equipment, there is an extensive gardening plot area and refreshment kiosk. These serve to bring people, who might otherwise be isolated, together to share a common interest and conversation. It grows a variety of fruits and vegetables so participants (and non participants, for a fee ) may enjoy fresh vegetables which they might otherwise not have available.
