I stayed at the Novotel with a big work group and we ordered pizzas from Pizzaperta for everyone to share. We ordered every single pizza on the menu - and I attempted to try them all! I've included photos of half of them. Service was ok but nothing special or unique. We ordered a LOT of pizza, so it did take quite a long time to come out. I'm a big pizza fan and believe in traditional Italian style pizzas having minimal quality ingredients, a flavourful sauce and a delicious base. Firstly, I love the pizza bases here - they were cooked perfectly and tasted great - not a single one looked burnt to me. Secondly, the sauce was decent, but nothing special. It didn't pack a flavour punch, but it did the job. Finally, the ingredients were good/fresh, and applied to the base appropriately in portions, but I found many of the pizzas to be uninspiring and lacking creativity. Not much had changed since the last time we were there and at least 30-40% of the pizzas were pretty boring.... especially the terrible artichoke pizza (which nobody ate). The best pizza was the traditional prosciutto and rocket one! This is one of my 'go to' choices when I see it on a menu and it did not disappoint here. The atmosphere is not a restaurant atmosphere because the place exists in a large food court. Because of this it can be extremely loud and busy - overwhelming even. It's not the cosy Italian restaurant style atmosphere that you want and crave when you eat pizza like this. For this, it loses a point.

The experience at Pizzaperta was okay overall. The crust of the pizza stood out—it was crisp, light, and really well done. The taste was nice too, with limited toppings. What really stood out was their Tuesday deal of two pizzas for $25, which is a fantastic offer. The best part is that you can choose from the entire menu, unlike other places that limit such deals to a small selection. A decent spot if you’re after good value and a solid pizza base.

Early dinner on a Friday... pizzas have a thin dough base with puffy chewy crust and interesting toppings. We tried a seafood pizza & a Calabrese - both were enjoyable. We also tried the macaroni with duck ragū - this was lacking a bit of seasoning ... not macaroni pasta shape but rigatoni. This is a food court type of environment... 'Eat Street' in West HQ has various cuisines on offer at different counters.

I'm so surprised to read the recent poor reviews. We have been twice on a Thursday night in last month. Everything we ordered had been absolutely delicious and extremely well presented. Great prices for amazing quality. We've have pizzas, gnocchi (outstanding), Fritto Misto (AMAZING!) and beautiful salads. I expect this quality at a pricey restaurant. My only criticism is there could be slightly more seasoning, I added salt to my gnocchi on both occasions....
