Project One Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

My favourite cafe in Narrabeen and surrounds by a long shot.

It’s a small hole in the wall, but really well presented. I find it hard to find good cafes around here that don’t just have the standard white-washed menus that every other cafe has, so the Vietnamese influence on the menu at Project One is something I’m happy to see.

The bahn mi here are incredible, and for what you pay, very reasonably priced at about $12-$15 each. They are packed full of ingredients and also pack a huge flavour punch too. Super fresh and perfect bread rolls that are flaky and soft.

Not only is the food amazing, but the owner Victoria is such a lovely, welcoming and warm person. She’s clearly passionate about what’s he does, greets everyone with a very warm smile and is a genuinely pleasant person. She could open a cafe selling only Vegemite on toast and I’d still be drawn in to visit just seeing her there.

I had the rice paper rolls a couple of weeks ago and they were absolutely amazing Victoria the gorgeous owner kindly gave me two dipping sauces to try and they were really incredibly tasty 😋 delicious! Took hubby today we both had the Banh Mi Rolls. I had the crispy pork and he had the slow roasted pork, they were divine & better than anything I’ve ever had, even in Vietnam. Couldn’t help myself took a slice of the Key lime pie home to have later this afternoon. Oh my god this girl can cook. Her baked treats are nothing sure have amazing!
