Monkey King Thai - Narrabeen — Restaurant in Sydney

We have been to Monkey King at Lindfield many times, and today we were at northern beaches and since we were happy with Lindfield branch, stopped to have lunch at Narrabeen branch.. We chose the table outside and it was supposed to be clean but when touched, it it was so sticky from left over food. I asked the waitress to clean it and she brought a wet rag and wiped it off. I used a white napkin to dry it and I was horrified from all the black gunk on the napkin and I gave it to her and saying, this is coming off your table. How could these people have a clean kitchen that the customers do not see if the tables are so dirty. please look at the tiles in front of the counter. The decor is not nice either with all the 1970 timber cladding and plastic chairs.

although there were only two tables occupied, she never came back to ask if we need anything and there is no service at all. Not happy, if this is a franchise then the franchisee should be removed from operating. The food was not good and rice was warm and was not served properly. my wife found a strip of plastic in her duck dish. Thanks...

Great little restaurant. Food was very good however for ppl that do not have a spicy taste the green curry would be a bit much for them. We went in lunch time so u got great lunch specials @$9.90 and the option to combo it for $12.90 So that gave u 1 soft drink, 2 spring rolls and ur main u ordered. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was 1) the main waitress looked like she was so angry and did not want to be there. 2) the $4 happy hr drinks was so limited u could only pick from 1 beer type, 2 white wines and 1 red wine...my hubby got the beer and was greeted with a glass so small iam sure if u sniffed it all the beer would be finished.

Overall this place was nice n clean and overall great atmosphere and for a family of 3 we had a great feed for under $40 including drinks n a serve of spring rolls. I will return again but will not be going for the...

I always order food from this restaurant same order pad kee mao with chillies. But today i got same order arrived in decent time as mentioned but the noodles was too soogy and literally its all watery in the bottom. I always asked for lots of spicy but today got the food with no spicy at all, Instead it was too too sweet than normal like you can literally taste sweet soy sauce. and while its says veggies and tofu but got one broccoli and one bean with few mushrooms. I am guessing they delivered me the order which was sitting there for a while and order that has been cancelled by other person or-else it wouldn't have tasted like that. Spending $30 for a noodle at least someone deserves to have a decent one and please read the notes attached. Literally so so...
