De’assis Café is a local gem in North Narrabeen. The coffee is always spot-on and the Brazilian cheese bread is seriously addictive. You can tell there’s real care in the food and the service — the staff are warm, efficient, and remember your order after just a couple of visits!

There’s plenty of outdoor seating, it's dog-friendly (our pup gets treated like royalty!), and the vibe is super relaxed with a beautiful lake breeze. The weekday breakfast combos are a great value, and their seasonal specials are always fresh and interesting.

I came with my partner to show her this beautiful place, but unfortunately we left disappointed. There was a misunderstanding with our order – I asked for two long blacks but was served two mochas (I am lactose intolerant). When I mentioned it politely, the barista insisted that I had ordered two mochas, which was not the case. The correction was handled poorly: the long blacks were placed on the table without a word, and I was not refunded the difference I had overpaid. Best home-made meat pies in Australia! Chunky beef is like back on the farm! My guess is it's the best cut chuck steak. My wife and children thought the bacon and egg roll and hash brown were the best they've tasted anywhere in WA, Queensland, Victoria, ACT and NSW.
