Ray's Pizza Ciao Belli — Restaurant in Sydney

Ordered via Uber eats for a quick and easy dinner after a busy day, estimated time of arrival was between 6.35-6.55 (I don’t mind they cannot be specific) 7pm comes and still no food or updated time), called the restaurant and they told me food has just left so will be there any minute, at 7.25 I called the restaurant and they followed up with the driver who arrived a few minutes after, the food was so cold and inedible, the cheese had solidified on the pizza and the pizza was soggy (from sitting for so long) but also chewy at the same time. The lasagna had fat solidified around it and it was like digging into a tub of lard, the Nutella pizza was again cold, and rock solid. They also forgot the drink we ordered but the driver was nice enough to go back and bring one to me again. I do not recommend Ciao Belli pizza and will not be returning...

Will never use again!! Would give zero stars if I could. My review is based on a recent takeaway on Saturday 1 March in the evening. The actual sizing (small or large) was unclear on the website so I based my purchase on the pizza price compared to competitors. I assumed the large at $33 would be too big so I ordered small pepperoni costing $28, and boy was it small!! But not only was it small, it only had about 5 small slices of pepperoni. Competitor pizzas in this price range are much larger and much more densely topped. Also I paid $5 for delivery and it arrived luke warm. I was hoping their own delivery service would bring hot food. Seems to be a new trend... Second time this has happened to me now. Has taken 2hrs for the food to arrive - 2 calls to chase. Was hung up on once and put on hold twice to be given inaccurate time frames about the food arrival with a fake "apology" in an attempt to simply get me off the phone.

This would have not been quite so disappointing if it was a one off or if the customer service was genuine - not a fake apology, not being hung up on. I didn't even get a word in before being put on hold. The entire interaction was extremely poor. Won't be going back.
